Hi guys, I bought the BP polizia a2824 16600 some time ago, had it serviced and love it but it attracts alot of attention and a simple search shows how ridiculously rare and overpriced it is.
Id like to get a standard 16600 dial and caseback to help it fly under the radar. Does anyone know if BP sells these separately or do I have to source them from sellers like yuki/raffles/HR etc ? Thanks

I'm looking to buy a BPSD with the SA3135 movement. Can someone please confirm if they have lately received a BPSD 3135 that has the correct curved 'S' in Sea-Dweller on the dial?
I've looked at TD sites and there's a flat 'S' on the dial for the 3135. Flat 'S' dials are 116600.
I've looked through my Mondani books, and online as well, and cannot find any instances of a flat "S' on a 16600.
I know that early batches of the BPSD 3135 had the correct curved 'S' dials, just want to be sure that those are still available.

Having read this thread from front to back and back to front and front to back again, I finally pulled the trigger on this. The cheap one since it’s my first rep in a long time, but the last BP Sub I got was of such high quality I’m sure the SD will be awesome. I’m excited and will post pix when received.

For the SA3135, some photos on TD sites show a 16600 SD with the dial of the 116600, so make sure you get the right dial.
For anyone looking to buy one of these, here’s a comparison pic of the 16600 and 116600 SD dials.

Typefonts are different, but some differences are easily picked out for a QC photo:
The 16600 has a curved S and flat A, while 116600 has a flat S and pointed A, in ‘Sea’.

Mine has arrived however the bezel is not clicking, is this common on a BP, never experienced it

I've bought two BPSD (the first sold to buy the second and to make a better one, and probably I will do it again soon) and both have arrived with the same issue you are mentioning…. it needs to be fixed and it's an easy job for every watchmaker but if you go back in this topic you find a lot of self made tricks.

Thanks for your advice, it must be a common issue. My supplier wants me to send it back for replacement, but after 4 weeks of waiting, I would rather buy a clickspring replacement off eBay and install it.

Out of interest, I have a gen dial for this coming to me. "16600"
I don't need it anymore. (went a different route, went for a Submariner instead)
I'm thinking about returning it to the seller, unless anyone here wants it. It's a perfection condition SD dial. Send me a PM if you're interested and I can share you pics etc... and then list it on here for sale as reserved etc.

I know a TC bracelet did not fit on the 2824 caseback variant, you had to shave the sels on the side a bit...
