Hi to all,

after days I finally read all the over 7500 posts of this thread. It's a pity that many photos (the old ones) is no longer available. I've learned a lot, I took notes and the only thing that I've to do now is contact a TD to get me a BP SD. My choice is to get one with ETA clone. I will not go crazy in modification but I would have liked to buy a TC bracelet and TC hands, but unfortunately I think to have understand that TC is no longer in the business...

Greetings to everyone

Welcome, you won't be disappointed in the BPSD, it's quite nice.
Good luck on the TC parts :/ they are hard to come by.

Instead of 2813, look instead at the 21j version. The hands and the dial fit the eta parts. The movement is not bad and the case can be used to house a 3135 movement later on.

Just unpacked the 16600 bp sa3135.

Top is TC, bottom BP.

What a dissapointment. I've ordered the sa3135 hoping for a gen spec case but this is ridiculous.

The crown guards are flipped just like in the miyota sub or sd.

The watch compared to TC is crap but i was expecting that. I was hoping for a good case at least. What a shame.

Oh, and the rotating bezel spins like a freaking fidget spinner in both directions :)).

Would you mind sharing a pic of the dial mate? Would be appreciated thanks a lot

Want my advice ? Don't buy the watch. Too many flaws. Badly executed. Way too expensive for what you get.

I already have a BP SD with 2813 high beat movement and I want to get another one for my girlfriend (also if there are many flaws I really like the watch it is my favourite model) I am just worried if take it with 3135 (I will send it for a service immediately) or an A2836! What do you suggest?

My honest advice is to choose another watch. Out of the box this one needs a lot of mods and parts to look decent even.

Maybe it's just my bad luck but after owning so many watches i can tell you that this one is not worth the price.

The barcelet is wrong and badly finished. The clasp is badly stamped and the surfaces are not flat and evenly polished. But everyone here knows the bracelet is bad and needs changing.

The case would be nice if it would have correct shaped crown guards. Using the sa3135 this case has the correct crown height ( assuming the rehaut has the correcr depth). So it's a shame the crown guards are flipped. The case is the same as miyota versions. On the miyota the crown sits lower so they had to improvise and thus they flipped the cgs. Pretty neet for a miyota but wrong for a sa3135.

I think the 2836 version has the same case btw. If not i would like someone here to post pics.

A plus to me is the bezel. It looks pretty decent although i suspect the scallops shine differs from gen.

The insert has a bad looking pearl and the black is diffrent from gen.

The dial looks acceptable. The hands are also not that bad...

The crystal looks good to me on the other hand. It lacks a lec and looks too tall though.

I suggest you buy your girl a AP 15000 jf quartz closed backcase. A great watch ootb that looks way better and cost less. JF please pay me :)))) just kidding

A little difficult to say exactly but in my opinion, the CGs should be a tad sharper/pointy-er and the lugs appear to be too rounded. Of course, it can possibly be the angle.

My experience with the TC elabore 2824 was poor it broke within a couple of months.

Never got why a man who put so much effort into creating a beautiful watch wouldn't have stuck an ETA in it?

Not a bad back up the BPSD to keep you going though.

I don't like to think of my bpsd as a backup :) but it was always hard to choose between the two.

My tc2824 elabore was very accurate, great PR, zero complaints for the first 6 months. And then just stopped. Ask @occb2 to answer your question why tc switched from swiss eta to "tc super clone better than "gen"!"

Maybe we were just unlucky I guess even Genuine ETA's can crap out.

I have little experience with automatic movements but my ETA 2836 is unbelievably accurate.

I saw TC's YouTube video where he showed the TC superclone vs ETA so maybe he genuinely believed they were superior.

Your BPSD is a beauty the SEL looks perfect.

Lol. Don't get me started. Lol. TC A2824 is a Asian 2824. They work but cheaply made. It WILL fail. The best thing is put a real eta. They are cheap. $160 ish.
