Lol. Don't get me started. Lol. TC A2824 is a Asian 2824. They work but cheaply made. It WILL fail. The best thing is put a real eta. They are cheap. $160 ish.

Haha sorry I know how that gets you going. I'll have to get a new swiss eta or a serviced swiss eta

Maybe we were just unlucky I guess even Genuine ETA's can crap out.

I have little experience with automatic movements but my ETA 2836 is unbelievably accurate.

I saw TC's YouTube video where he showed the TC superclone vs ETA so maybe he genuinely believed they were superior.

Your BPSD is a beauty the SEL looks perfect.

Thanks. I would expect it to be quite rare for a swiss eta to just crap out assuming it was assembled competently. of course there are small % of failures which is why 1 year warranties exist for most products

Eta 28xx movements are almost perfect for what they are. I believe it was a few years ago that a chronometer 2824 won the cosc world competition .

The one @ado213 put in my bpsd is fantastic

I don't think that's a BP. But I'm no expert.
Trusty sells some "newbie" 21j cheap versions of these that have that sticker.

@Albertonanana

THIS IS NOT A BPSD!!!

I hope you didn't purchase this sub 75USD Canal Street Special!

1. BPSD Doesnt come with caseback sticker. Caseback font is also incorrect to be a BPSD.
2. SEL'S are wrong for a SD. Theses SELs appear to be Submariner, which means its a Sub bracelet. Won't know for sure w/o verifying bracelet code on clasp.
3. Insert is wrong to be a BPSD, take a look at the "4" and "5", and compare them to the link I provided below for comparison of a BPSD with a Gen SD as a sample.. Also in that same link there are QC pictures, please refer to them for better clarity, so you can verify the faults I stated here.
4. Dial is not a BPSD. I'll just give you one error as an example; take a look at "SWISS MADE" at the six o'clock position. On a BPSD, the height of the phrase is positioned so that the bottom of the letters start at the top of the tick lines. On your picture the phrase is positioned so that the tick lines come up about halfway to the phrase.
5. The case in your pics is also not a BPSD case. The lugs are too thick, and the CG's are wrong as well.

I welcome other more experienced BPSD aficionados that may know of some other flaws that I may have missed.

Oh, and these pics look to be QC pics from Toro Bravo, but the watch in these pics are not posted on his website.

Links of the BPSD being compared to a GEN SD, also don't forget to take a look at the QC pictures which are linked within: http://www.pf-818.com/watches/rolex...classic-sea-dweller-ss-blk-asian-2836-31.html

QC Pics: https://imageshack.com/a/TqoF

Lastly, I did purchase my BPSD from Joshua from the above link at Perfect Clones.

NOTE: Perfect Clones is NOT a Trusted Dealer on RWI. Although he is on other rep forums, so take it for what it's worth. My only intention here was to help educate you on the BPSD.

EDIT: After further research, I came across this one from Silix-Prime that has almost all the same flaws as the one in the pics you posted: http://www.silix-prime.org/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=116_205_213&products_id=5052

The tale, tale signs here:
1. Look at the "=" between feet and meters: BPSD has no space
2. The "SWISS MADE" is still wrong in relation to the tick marks, refer to my post above for links to pictures and also look at Lukko's just above this post (Lukko has some mods done, but it's still a good reference point).

It could be a 2814 dial, but I am not sure, if so then its another 118USD SD.

There you go, that's the difference now, since they've updated to a SA3135, they also must have copied a later model than my M Serial number reference. SA3135's have potential, but should be serviced upon receipt. I know this is cliche sounding, because all reps should have their auto/mech mov'ts. serviced for dependability and longevity. However SA3135's are extra sensitive to this fact. I have two SA3135's myself, in my noob V7's 116610's, and lovem. So it is either a love/hate relationship with SA3135's.

I remember ado posting somewhere that the sa3135 bpsd is less gen spec than the clone version but I can't seem to find it. Do you recall?

I also thought I remembered this too, but can't locate it.

The M serial number is the reference I have always used for clarity on gen spec. The new SA3135 may be based off a later gen spec, but I can't verify this.

I remember him reporting something about the case construction being worse than the clone version

Here is my unmodded BP SD I got from Sead a couple months ago. It's currently with Adrian.
