Because the hands had a small different color than dial and it bothered me very much haha.

No not quite.
Gen spec crystal, TC tube and crown, TC submariner bracelet polished and brushed, TC dial and hands v2 or v3 and had everything relumed, TC DW and Adrian put in a 2836.
My advice try to look for a gen crown and than tell me because i'm looking for one haha.

I think if you have someone who known how to sand the insert right, it is a nice upgrade anyway.






I never saw a good aftermarket insert for the SD and even when you find one you never know if it fits the SD

My gen 14060 insert snapped right in with no sanding, it was the easiest install ever

I've got a question, when swapping the tube for a wso tube to accept a gen crown, does the case have to be retapped to accept the wso crown? Or is it a strait swap out?

I ask only because the single biggest tell is the crown... IMO.

It does need to be retapped. The crown guard should be reworked too. And I agree the crown is a big tell. Gen criwn is much nicer
