BP Seadweller.. Best SD available Period

Sorry what I mean is that after having it serviced over the years the teeth will appear more shallow as a result. Not as deep as when the watch was brand new 20 years ago

Another thing ive noticed is the HEV, everyone is so opposed from having it shiney, because it came from the factory with a matte finish. Some guys go to great lengths to make sure the bezel looks worn, but the rest of the watch is pristine.

My HEV has been polished from 3 years of wearing it with my leather jacket (cuff). That i dont mind .....

I'm now also hooked with the bpsd an got my QC pictures from sead. In my opinion the date looks left centered and the bezel also not perfectly centered. I told sead my concerns and he checked the watches and told me I was just the photographing angle.
What would you do, just accept it o reject it?

The date looks ok, could be a **** hair off but not enough to reject it. The bezel doesn't appear to line up though. That may be an issue

This is how the bezel teeth looked right after polishing was done. Like KBH says after a couple of months the shine kinda fades.

Here is a better pic of bezel teeth after polishing. I saw a post by Smpfan saying that he deepened the teeth, doesn't say how he did it. It's in this thread.

The bezel looks fine to me considering the left bias of the pic and the distortion of the high xtal at the right. But the buzz-saw look at top teeth I would think is distortion as well, never have seen that before.
Date window? Looks about as good as one can hope for and I have seen MUCH worse.
I would love to see a side pic to get depth of teeth when you finally take delivery for they look good.

Date looks ok. Bezel might be a half click off, you could ask him to adjust it and send another photo. If he says it's ok from what I've been told about him that means it's ok.

Confirmation bias: tendency to only see the info we are looking for and disregard the rest.

In this case desperately trying to see what's wrong whether it's there or not. I was in your shoes yesterday. I hate qc pics

They are surprisingly similar. With the Seadweller on the wrist I soon forget about the TC and could very well live with just the SD.
It´s when You put them side by side that the TC: is thinner and slim in design, sits lower on the wrist and the TC dial is quite
superior in shine, depth of the black and polishing of the dot markers, reflection, quality of the lettering on the dial.
You can go into a length of subtilities and details of course, it´s just that in real life the 2 main differences above are the only really
noticeable ones to me.
As said, 10 minutes later and without a comparison/ reference point the brain "forgets" about it and imho the SD does very well.

I like them both, I have the TCLV and I like it just as much as the BPSD. The SD seems to wear a little smaller but not by much. I wear the SD more for work as a daily and the sub for weekends. But both are great watches.

Thank you for that comparison. Your comparison of the dials though I assume is based on the tc 16610 dial vs a stock bpsd dial. As opposed to the tc 16600 dial? Also do you find the sd wears any heavier? Doesn't it have a more solid bracelet?

Yes both 40 mm but for some reason it seems a bit smaller on wrist if you look at my side by side sub dia looks just a tad bigger. I'm not sure of actual thickness of reps
, gen SD is 14.8 and gen sub is 13.0, because of xtal height SD does sit higher.
