Some teaser pics for you guys. Lug holes and perfect CG :) :) :)

Also NOS gen bezel set.

Still about a month out on this because I have to ship it out to Adrian and then back to my other modder. But RBJ did a hell of a job on the case work. Also JMB did the lug holes perfectly.

Beautiful! Lugholes is such a small thing but makes all the difference.

Thanks bro. Lug holes was a must for this build. Pretty much the only thing that was a must at the start of this build. So happy to see this finally coming together.

Here's my latest and greatest BP SD with the usual TC mods...

Maybe I'm not that fussy, but the stock crystal height is close enough for me. Even the BP insert is superb - not sure I'm going to bother replacing it [emoji3].

Pj, your first pic the insert looked slightly grey, which looks greats. I haven't seen many aged BP inserts… one day, added to the list.

Can someone please post a pic comparing the TC hands versus the BP stock hands? I can't find a good comparison shot. Thanks.

Bp stock hands are not comparable to TC's. You will not regret.

Do a search within this thread for hand comparisons. The BP lume on the hands doesn't match the daytime white of the dial. Too green if you will. That's why people change them.

With regard to Crystal heights, I think if you go climb aboard the way back time machine, you'll see the Crystal height on the gen is a bit taller than you think. There were comparisons made in the past between the previous super dweller and the gen. Search for that to make your comparison.

On the gen bracelet, it should fit like a glove but I wouldn't bother with it, the gens are junky feeling as well. ;) The reason why people sand their TC bracelet is because it comes in just over 20mm . So you have to sand it to fit the bp case.

Phew...

Thanks. The TC dial is a huge difference to me, the hands not as much. But I didn't have that option due to the movement on my BP.

A little update on my project. Finally got case back from RBJ. He did crown gaurds and re brushed/polished the whole case. Very happy with how it turned out. Now off to Adrian to install gen bezel and gen crystal. Then to mike for gen dial, date wheel, hands and yuki 3135.

Here are the CG next to my gen 14060 that has never been polished. So CG are still like they were from factory. I think RBJ did a good job and this is how they would look after a polish or two at RSC.

And a better shot of the lug holes.

That is a terrific shot! I had trouble seeing which was which. Those dials are sooooo close as is the insert. Even the bezel teeth look equally as deep. I too am thinking about a xtal swap, but damn if that isn't a major example of the point-of-dimidhing-returns.
My rule of thumb is that if I can't see the difference with the naked eye, I've hit that point. Granted, my eyes aint what they used to be.
Cheers.
