Does any one know the part # for the gen crown for the SD?

its the same as a genuine 16610 and you can get them from many people new or used BK or Rolex Forums don't mention rep on Rolex forum and get a WSO tube from BK or direct from wso on the bay

thank you, so all 7mm crown should be good to go.

not all 7mm work you need a 703 or 704 I think just look on the Rolex Forum. You need a trip lock , explorer 2 216570 take 7mm twinlock but they are impossible to find

Hi there guys to all of you. I would like to ask you if this beauty could take the gen sea dweller bezel insert or the tc submariner insert as well. I am really interested on the tc insert beacause is much cheaper than the gen and very high qualiIy... did a little scratch on my bezel and trying to find alternatives.

I think only the Gen 16600 insert is correct, maybe wso or clark has one but many people on the forum just use the BP insert and change the pearl, I think WM pearl...Watch Materials.com I think. read the thread

A (tc) submariner insert wont fit.

Yes. As long its a 16600 insert, not the 16610

Updated: just today i have got in my hands a gen insert... Anyone could provide me a tutorial on replacing the part;? Is it simple as this?

Wow sounds exactly like mine except I had Adrian machine the case to accept a genuine spec crystal and I got the movement from Otto Frei so its vanilla ETA and Tagfan1 is assembling it.... interesting how did you fit a gen spec crystal?
