The WSO bezel will not directly fit the BP SD, there is some machining of the WSO bezel required to make it fit.

Thanks Guys....I finally satisfied after building five of these builds...Although it's over the top ! But each there own I guess! Like I stated earlier in this thread ...You can achieve awesome results with the BPSD with a little work.& parts.Victor has discovered mods to take the case & Renault to new levels with his machinery and skills...This is the best out of the box rep ever conceived out of the rep factories!
Tagfan1 created this amazing piece if you missed his thread? I was in the process of building the same build pretty much without the gen movement and gen bezel assembly
Then I seen him build this one and I knew I had to have it! The rest is history!
Gen dial
Gen hands
Gen DW
Gen insert
Gen retainer
Gen bezel ring
Gen crown
Gen diver ext
Gen Caliber Rolex 3035 movement
T.C bracelet
BPSD CASE reworked and softened by Tagfan1
C.G worked as well...
I'm going to make a few adjustments ...My personal preferences to the Crystal & insert...then I will call it day....It's a great watch to have fun with guys ! If you have a love for Rolex tool watches... This makes a great base watch to mod! Enjoy guys have fun!

I got another little SD project that I'm slowly gathering parts for to do a budget build!
KBH gave me this amazing SD dial with awesome patina!
I think it will be awesome once mounted in the old SSD case!

Thanks for the shout out Rudy, and your old BPSD dial and handset is living comfortably in my old SSD modified case. It's been my everyday watch (won't even call it a beater) for about 5 years.

I just ordered a Blancpain fifty Fathoms Noob with No Radiations Dial and a BP Sea Dweller. I cant say that I will be able to get close to yours but I will at least try, You have past the limit of awesomeness but I can at least make a pretty good one maybe with RAs help or with Tagfan1?? is he in our area of operation?

so is this the current BP box stock? Sead is getting me one!!!

Unmodded Seadweller, just to re-take a look. Might be these are already posted somewhere before. Imo the money for modding is better invested in a TC as long as You´re building up Your collection. If You are a veteran downsizing after 2 Years or later, it might be an option to keep this one and than start putting all the mods to it.
Always consider there often are complications when modding and You end up spending even more or with a broken watch, broken crystal, broken stem, bent hands etc.

I have bought a couple from Sead and a couple from other TD Sora.. And a couple from friends!
Pretty much all the same BPSD with different movements etc... But all the same construction! It wasn't until recently I found out that a Yuki 3135 or Gen Rolex 3035 or 3135 could be fitted in the BPSD cases! Which made me take another look into building another?... Because up to that point I already modded it in every way possible!
But it's not all about how much money you spend... Because I have got awesome results before without spending $3k
Into a build.... A build like mine is just personal preferences!
You can achieve the same looking watch and just as dependable with a lot less money!
It's all about what you want in the results? But most of all have fun with it!!!!

KBH I never seen pics of it when you got done with it?
I know you did have the SSDV2 and the BPSD ? You still have both?
I kept this old dial you gave me! I love the patina it has! I want to do a old SSD build with it? But it's hard to come by the old SSD cases anymore? I had one from jackjoe a long time ago but got foolish and sold it!
Now I wish I had it...lol

I put in a TC dial and hand set, gen insert, with an ETA movement into the BPSD and thought I was done. I knew I had to sell one of the two and I was too attached to my old SSD so I let the BP go.

To be honest, I thought the BP dial is just about as nice as the TC and the lume is equivalent. And I de-wokked the rehaut of the SSD and put in your old dial. And my current insert with a Watchmaterial pearl is about indistinguishable from the gen.

Crappy pictures but the SSD is on the left.

This is good info K, between you and Rudy I should have all the resources of information I need to make a good SD, It sounds like I don't need to go crazy to get a pretty accurate looking watch. I will post up pictures as soon as I get it for a foundation. Sead is getting it and a Blancpain FF No Radiations for me right now. So it may be awhile in the mean time RA says he is done with the 1675 and will probably send pictures Tuesday as it already 1800 hrs in his land. Looking forward to mure fun.

Hi Thrasher, mine You re-posted above is totally stock. You´re getting a great value for money:) Imo if You want to mod it this needs 1. a crown 2. an insert or pearl-mod and in this order. When comparing it to gen pictures the main (minor) difference I see is in the crown. As far as the hands matching the dial markers I think it depends on different batches. Just wait until You get Yours and than decide the route to go.

Really Fantastic info, looking forward to seeing what I get. The crown is totally critical to me and I suppose the tube and quality of movement I want it to feel smooth and screw down nicely I have gone through to much nonsense with crowns and find them to be my kryptonite. Of course the accuracy of appearance but I think I will follow the recommendations of the Rudy, KBH and You to see if I can do a balanced build.
