Rudy - BP looks nearly identical to the gen. Comparing the 16610 insert to the BP SD insert and thought the same thing.... but nice to see a 1 to 1 comparison.
I'm curious how it fits... the BP (at least mine) is glued in... does it friction fit into the BP SD or are you going to have your watchsmith do the swap???
I will report back to you on this one...Because this version of BP SD is slightly different than my old version...I can tell by just looking at it....The last time i tried it myself..(Installing a gen insert in the BP SD) I grinded on a brand new Gen SD insert for 3 hours...I cussed and swore and lost a little religion that night!..Finally got it grinded down enough to be glued in..LOL!! ...I swore i never try that again...But i did a week ago and scuffed a brand new Gen 16610 insert...So no more installing Gen inserts for me! Just cant keep from shaking my hands so much!///
Plus i got a great guy to do this build for me...Hes been kind enough to make room and time for my project...So i will let him do the heavy lifting..It will be a few more weeks because im waiting on TC parts for this build...Just got the tracking...So a few more weeks....I will let you know the out come!...I have read it has fitted without any glue or epoxy ...and i have also read it had too be customized to fit....I would say variances in these watches on the specs,,,At least that has been the case with the four i have owned!
