Those are some nice builds you have going on. I've been thinking about getting another DSSD, too.

My BPSD is in here somewhere. Same as most, TC dial/hands/bracelet, wm9 tube, gen crown & a nickle plated ETA from a Tissot.

The TC dial is a big improvement IMHO...

Yeah everyone I have owned has had greenish looking markers and hands are just as bad...the text font has got better ...but not as good as TC..if someone relumed the stock dial and hands it wouldn't be so bad!
But I just opted to change for TC dial altogether ...because I plan on keeping it!
Yeah that DSSD is looking real good to me..lol!!

Since this BP SD is a rep case, I have to ask: do I look for a gen 16600/16660 SD insert or a standard 16610 gen sub insert? Since the gens are close, I didn't know if the BP factory just kept sub dimensions or if they made it accurate to the gen SD (which is a different size than sub).

BPSD takes an SD insert. It's smaller than a Sub insert.

here is my proposal for those who want to find better bezel ring for their bp sd.

only aftermarket Sd bezel is from WSO, but no one has tried it until now, we dont know how is it, if nice, perfect, wrong..
WSO selling three pieces on offer at 225 +45 $ shipping. if we come together (3 utents from Europe) we can face spending definitely not heavy (about 60 euro for person). I propose to get them with delivery to Ado123.. he can try it and then send the other piece..

Ado, I hope it will be a pleasure for you to try it.

I would not try this bezel without better pictures. WSO seems to be unable to provide other pics. He's also not very communicative. I ordered a SD bezel insert for my SD from him. Insert is o. k. but the pearl is same crap as every other cheap aftermarket item.

yes they dont give other pics... but there is not alternatives... i found this better pics...

ps- the insert it's the same as clark, all aftermerket insert has wrong pearl.

Here I am, only to introduce my BPSD, and the mods that the Great Ado made for me.
It came from Sead, and immediately went to Ado to be modded.
A genuine insert, a TC 93160, TC hands and a new dial always from Sead went with him.
I had to change the dial because the marker at 9 was off when it arrived.
Ado made it all for me, including fixing a problem occurred to the bezel that started running free.
Great communication, excellent feeling during the work like every one who knows Ado can say.
Watch came back home and all I can say I'm very happy with it, more than with my TC submariner.
I know this is all because of the work Ado made on my watch. I totally trust him and I would say to everybody to call him to have a SD modded.

Now my question and doubt.

I think the gen Rolex lume color is more white than the rep lume; I find that the BP lume is better than TC from this point of view, but the dial is more green than the pearl, in particular in the daylight.
Someone else think thips way?
Way to fix the problem? Gen dial? Reluming dial?

Bezel. Despite of the great work Ado made, the feeling with the bezel movement still sounds as "rep".
When it stops, it always has some play.
And making a complete rotation, it doesn't move smoothly for all 360 degrees.
Sorry for my poor English, I hope I've been able to explain what I'm meaning.

Who has the solution for this issues?

Just my opinion, but I've never found WSO to sell quality parts. I think that is a lot of money to try a company's bezel when many of their other products are not good. I think you all should save your money for better rep projects than this one. I've spoken to a few of our better modders about this BPSD and none have suggested changing the bezel - only the insert. Cheers!

If we only could improve the feeling of the movement would be great!
Maybe a different, better, customized click spring would be enough?

Has anyone tried the simplest thing first of trying to put a little more bend in their click spring? I don't know cause mine feels fine, is firm and clicks nicely so it's hard for me to understand what the fuss is all about.

I had mine apart when I replaced the insert with a gen but all I did was clean it up and put it back together.

By the looks of the WSO bezel scallops it doesn't look so hot!
Maybe you guys would be trading down instead of trading up! Like Greg said there parts isn't that good...I have tried with a few parts myself! Wasn't impressed at all!

There is something i cannot understand...
Most of us has gen insert on our SD...
Unless one has a gen dial too, the dial and pearl doesn't match, with stock BP and even with TC dial.
Why nobody ever speak about this problem?
This is true even for TC sub and I never found nobody speaking about that neither in the TC Sub addict...
Why?

i spoke everytime about the greenish of the bp dial' marker ... most utents has solved with tc dial. i dont know tc dial because i solved with gen dial.

i dont fitted on my bp yet , because i'm searching an good bezel also for full complete project...

but, yes, for me the bp marker greenis is a problem...

ask to utents whic own tc dial.. maybe it will be better than bp..

if you want gen dial its difficut to find and the cost is around 400-600$
