They are going for like $800 to $1500 USD on eBay. Crazy stuff. So I'd say yeah, the flippers got em. I'll wait for the DHGate special to pop up like it did with the Speedy.

Gen MoonSwatches can't have their quartz movements swapped out easily either (not without modding intervention at least). The idea by N. Hayek is to throw them away in case of a malfunction and just get a new one... I guess it's a Swatch tradition.

They said that about the moonswatch…… released March 2022, it’s still in the headlines and people are still lining up for them. Plenty of em still ticking away with no issues…. mine included.

This release will be the same. It’s a great deviation in the watch world which is dominated by too much news and hype about how Rolex just changed the font on their watches from a 7 to a size 8. Boring A/F….

Well to be fair, a lot of these moonswatches are falling apart. The quartz movement seems to have a longer life than their automatic as well...

I'm not sure swapping hype for one thing with hype for another is necessarily progressive. its refreshing - sure. but the associated buzzword everyone is slapping over this stuff is 'FUN!' - well I already have fun with my watches. Making one out of plastic to have a service life of 2 years isn't my definition of 'fun'.

I'd rather drop an extra £100 on a rep of the real one. Maybe the hype will make ZF restart their production on these, as well as their stalled 40mm versions.

had a quick DHGate search and assume no reps yet of this - I got the swatch one and couldn't be happier, here's hoping....

while i'm wearing my Saturn moonswatch at least once a week if not more, the colors of this one are really hard to stomach for me
And btw been wearing my moonswatch for 1 year plus and it's as good as new

Here i know of people getting the blainswatch easily these days after the launch long queues

I asked my son about a month ago to get me the orange no rad version when he visited Las Vegas. He went to the fashion show mall swatch store and was told that the only store in town that have blancpain was the store at New York New York hotel. So he went there the next morning a few minutes before 9 and it was sold out. The employee told him that they restock everyday but only receive 12-18 watches per day. So the following day he waited there from 8:30 and there were 8 people ahead of him. He got the one that I wanted and also bought the moonswatch moon mission. I decided he can keep both since I appreciate his effort. Here is his photo of the no rad version:

My son went to the swatch store in Brussels on a random midday-break and there wer 4 out of the 5 in stock (only the yellow/black one was not available). Don't seem to be too hard to get your hands on one
