I contacted several dealers, specifically about the Barakuda. They all said it was unavailable from the factory. that was for the Barakuda model from two different factories. looks like they are not available, no idea if they will produce more at a later date. I would love to have one as this is the perfect size for me. I have had several Fifty Fathom reps in the past, but the 45mm size is just too big for my wrist.
Barukda is still being made but not by ZF but by GSF and KRF

Nice. Is that the latest 40mm No Rad edition? What is the metal bracelet on yours? I have been looking thru multiple TD sites but none state what strap size it is (assuming 20mm?)

Show this image to your TD and tell them to try and source it for you.

Thanks man. I asked three dealers and they all said GSF out of stock. Only some unknown factory does this one but no pictures. Who is your TD that can source it?

I'm looking for the Barakuda. That was what our discussion was about. But I appreciate the heads up, thanks.

Finally came in the post. Feel pretty nice on the wrist, light, and not bulky- especially after wearing the Pam for a while. The strap is soft and pliable than expect. Nice watch overall. Did notice that the winding rotor is black versus what i’ve seen online, maybe it’s a white reflector. Only gripe would be the outer rim of the bezel. The bezel is nice and tight but the outer rim is slightly springy when pushed down it spring upward (dampen?)

Does anyone know how to change the strap? Is it the same way blancpainXswatch version (as seen online) with two Allen? Or even source a 20mm screw tube bars? 22mm or longer are easy to find but 20mm, no so much.

Congrats, its my favorite watch.

If you want to add another strap, look no further than the 20mm brady sailcloth. Made for blancpains. Cheap and durable, very comfy leather lining.

They are just normal spring bars but curved with no shoulder. To dismount strap, put a watch pin remover point, paper clip or very small jewelers flat head in the lug holes to depress the bars, with some outward pressure on the strap at the same time it will release.

Some links below if you ever need new ones, just be sure to stay on the thinner side for the bars because there isn't much room between the case and the bars for the strap. A thicker spring bar will make it very hard to mount any kind of strap.

I have a gen bracelet on mine and I ended up using two knurled pins per side to secure it, you tap them in and they stay put. Tap them out to change straps. This is pretty common on older blancpain watches. I don't plan on removing the gen bracelet ever so it's not a big deal for me. I'd stick with the spring bars if you're going to be changing straps alot.
