I don't understand... the SwatchPain has a 31.5mm dial. It simply won't fit a 28.5mm case. I know this because I bought the SwatchPain, manually trimmed the dial, then put it in the case. Would not recommend. How is this guy achieving plug and play so easily?

He never claimed plug and play. It’s the guy who posted here who said that

Those are Submariner cases, no Fifty Fathoms…he is also still looking for a proper FF case

I am working on this mod based on that redditor’s instructions. Dial fits well inside the case he sent, though the movement holder leaves some to be desired. I have the glass case-back, to add the rep design you’ve got to pry apart the spinning piece from the rep and file down the brass piece which fits the items together. I broke a rep movement in my first attempt which means I’m waiting for another. I will send some pictures soon. I think it looks pretty good.

I’m still on the hunt for a bezel insert which looks identical. The ones AE offers aren’t identical and the bezel insert from the rep does not fit in the bezel of this case.
