Notice this is one of the cheaper ones without the weight inside.It's just a thin fake decorative disk. I just pried between the disk and the plastic movement holder. There's nothing holding it in.
Also note that the bezel markers are somewhat translucent. It's color is based on the underlying case. I haven't taken apart my ocean of storms one yet, but one of the bad issues is how dingy the bezel insert markers are. The ones on the gen are almost white.
I think I will just wear the plastic rep as is

agreed. If a great Fifty Fathoms case comes up that can hold a 30.5mm dial I would be all over it. I will stay on the search.

This case looks great- but unless a shim can be fashioned the dial seat is a little too big...

I own many of these and I ended up 3d printing my own custom spacers as these don't come in enough sizes. A lot of people here (okay not a lot, but the good builders) have a lathe to machine custom adapters as well.

I don't understand... the SwatchPain has a 31.5mm dial. It simply won't fit a 28.5mm case. I know this because I bought the SwatchPain, manually trimmed the dial, then put it in the case. Would not recommend. How is this guy achieving plug and play so easily?
