I'm interested to see how this plays out. Certainly won't be ordering anything from Puretime until then. I hope it gets sorted. I want to hope there is some reasonable explanation here. But damnnnn...if everything actually is as the OP has stated, then PT has gone out of it's way to fail at nearly every turn.
The PAM situation is the most troubling. If PT is sending photos of a good watch and then mailed flawed one, then that's very serious. If it were a completely different make and model you could chalk it up to a clerical error, but it gets much harder to explain away when it's the same model. Even best-case scenario the PAM crown guard came off after the photos were taken and someone tried to stick it back on hoping it wouldn't be noticed, but that's still pretty bad. The other examples with faulty crown or pushers...if I'm reading that right they have at least two of his watches (one for four months!) that they supposedly can't repair, but won't refund or exchange? WTF???
If this was someone telling this story about an experience with a non-TD, we'd be saying that he deserved to get scammed!
I've ordered many reps, some from PT and there weren't any screaming issues. I want to be clear - I realize we don't have PT's side of the story here and I won't make a final judgement when it comes to my future business until we have that. I'm a realistic person, and I don't expect black market dealers on the other side of the world to be held to the same standards as when I order something from Amazon. There are obviously some inherent risks. I also realize that the dealers don't make the watches themselves. But at the same time, they're the ones who take our money for profit, so they need to have some level of accountability. If all these issues really did occur with multiple watches spanning several orders in a fairly short period of time and PT can't/won't help the OP, then that's well below the threshold that we should be holding our TDs to. Otherwise, what's the point?
Hopefully the mods can get a resolution, but it's sad that it ever got to this point.
