I was just thinking the same, sounds like he maybe ordered from a PT clone scam site.

I did had a good experience ordering 111N from PT. But switch side to Trevor shortly.

I ordered from Puretime.co, not from a scam site. I was in good faith, because Puretime is a trusted Dealer.

Anyway, I wouldn't send a watch back for "repair" in any case. I would request them to send in replacement parts and get it done locally.

Very few dealers don't drop ship

Something similar happened to me with another TD here, on the beginning he told me that the flaws I found in the watch he sends me were normal to be expected in a $400 replica, after an e-mail argument he offered to fix it if I pay to send it back to him. The flaws in the watch weren’t visible in the QC pic but anyone that handles the watch would noticed a wobbling bezel, anyway he decide to send it to me like that.



That person can be a TD here but not for me anymore, means that I never buy from him again, after that I have bought other 3 watches but not from him.



I think is time for you to switch dealer mate!:picard:

100% of my purchases so far have been exactly what has been pictured in my QC shots.

Mine too, 100% for sure and exactly as pictured...

My purchases have been excellent and you all know that I have a Hublot with customs but Puretime sorted me out with a 1/2 price JC navy seal. I also think that you must of been scammed by a different site does Angus read these comments has he responded to your allegations ???

Would really like to know this as yes its our hard earnt $ or £ or Euros so we want the best quality for the right price and the QC pics to be correct & delivered.

Please let us know what happens if you get hold of the main guy

I’m not saying who that TD is because it was a single incident and I don’t want to harm his reputation here, anyway it wasn’t a big issue. I just don’t like the way he responds to my complaint, avoiding responsibility and saying that the defect it was common in a $400 replica, which is not the way I’m used to deal and that’s why I decide not to buy again from him

I ordered at puretime.co it is the wright website from angus. Have someone a contact E-Mail from angus, because [email protected] cannot solve my problem. They say bad luck and wait. But after 4 mounths i cannot wait anymore.

Puretime staff can be a bit nasty indeed.

But, I trust they don´t cheat.

I think it is not really good if you have to contact the boss,
and only the boss, to get things sorted out.

Most recently, PT´s team also did not react properly to a complain
of mine, imho, so I contacted Angus directly.

He reacted extremely fast (even on a Sunday!), and very gentleman like.

This is how I know Angus, a man of his word.

I feel a bit sad that his team seems to need to learn how to better
handle problems.

Personally, I cannot understand how one can wait 3 or 4 months
before reporting a problem, while placing more and more orders
all the time with the same dealer.

You should give Angus a chance to respond, usually, there are
2 sides of any story like this.

I am eager to learn about the PAM386, to be honest. I cannot
imagine PT sent out that watch with upside-down CG.

Btw, if you want to see about my quality issues, I made a thread
over at RG about the QC question... and my specific case.
