I bought 2 replica watches: IWC 2006 and Breitling SA v3

I believe both have Asian 7750 movement. IWC is dead already after less than a year. While the SA is slowly fading its reserve power and looks like it's stalling already as I have to rewind twice in a day eventhough it's on my wrist during the time.

Need your advice on what I should do next. I really love these pieces as I get compliments each time =D

Sounds like you need to have them serviced. Every automatic needs service, even gens, but especially the reps. After service they should work better than when you got 'em. Click here for the trusted repair guy's on this forum. I haven't used one yet, but I hear good things about Katt and 14060 or 16610?, they are located in CONUS. Good luck.

Where do you live?

Usually a simple cleaning will be enough if done before the movement starts having issues. As yours are already dead or on their way to die, a complete service will most likely be needed.

Try to contact Taka, maybe he knows a watchsmith in SEA.

Which IWC is it? If it has the running sec at 6 then it will always be a problem as these are modded with a gear train to move the secs to 6. Its not a reliable mod.

Actually just yesterday avitt posted a thread over at RG about that. We all know how Domi and Francisco say that these movements are unreliable and the best solution is a gen movement. Well avitt said that none of them actually had their hands on one of those movement with a DLC'd plate and they're just expressing their opinion and only guessing. So him or his friend or whatever did a calculation and the results was that the friction between the gears and the DLC'd plate is almost as low as if there was an oiled jewel there. Obviously not as low, but quite low. He also said that he had two Portuguesers with their plates DLC'd and they've been running well for a few years now...

Just saying....

Well that puts a kink in things. I've past up several beautiful watches because of the seconds running at the 6.
