I dont think Noob will fix that soon or at least looking at the status of the sub, which has a very high demand and still insert has not been corrected, dont see happening in near future. So my question is if there is a way to fix the gap, considering that also a gen platinum bezel is not easy to get and cost will make it almost a no go for this rep? @zocker4711 Hello Sir, I have already gave my respects to such a great post and I know you are a very experienced watch maker. Is there a way to fix the gap in the insert of the bezel in the gray Noob version of the platinum YM?

BK is only a dealer who used to handpick and mod Noob Rolex models with Swiss ETA's. I say used because now you have to supply your watch to him as he isn't retailing them any longer due to customs issues.

Got this message from BK, this is with swiss ETA 2824:

The lead time is about 4-5 weeks.
Here's the process: My helper will send the partially modded rep from Hong Kong to you, you then send it to me to mod. I'm in the US. My helper will have done her QC, and my watchsmith will have already checked the movement and repositioned the DWO (if it's a date model). You can send the watch to me by Priority Mail Flat Rate Small Box. The reason is I can't import reps into the US anymore. I lost too many reps to US Customs. They always inspect my packages now. It's the customer's risk (which should be much smaller) and consideration to import a rep into the US. I don't assume responsibility for customs seizure or taxes.

The price is $655 shipped. I don't have Paypal anymore. I bank with Wells Fargo, and BofA. You can just deposit cash or transfer money to my account (if you also bank with BofA or Wells Fargo). If you bank with Chase, you can use their QuickPay to send money to me. You can also use Popmoney, BillPay, bank wire, cashier's check, Money Order. LMK which method you want to pay by.

mods:
- reinstall DWO for better date positions
- line up the 12 o'clock marker to the engraved Rolex coronet on the rehaut on a best-fit effort
- line up bezel insert to the dial
- reinstall crystal to line up cyclop to date window
- tighten bezel => no rocking bezel
- set proper crown stem length. Noobfactory sometimes make it too long which puts pressure on the movement and can diminish WR

Get a stock A2836 with careful QC and pocket the $250 & change.
OR​
Get a carefully QC'd SA3135 and spend the ~$200 on a movement service BUT only if you wish to franken it in the future. (Not the best idea for a YM)

Personally, I'd QC my own 2836 ($358+ship),get an @rnrprof new blackhole crystal for $180 and modder fees to install the new crystal, lower it as per Gen and waterproof it.
