I'm currently building 2 frankens of the 116622 yachtmaster. One with the platinum dial and the other with dark rhodium. Just waiting for all the parts to get in.

Tubes and the platinum dial and date wheels. But haven't found a genuine dark rhodium dial anywhere. That's going to be a waiting game. Same thing with the platinum bezels. And they both are using the Yuki 3135 movements.

Do document a Gen vs Noob Platinum dial comparison. I am sure others like myself would be highly interested in that.
The dark rhodium dial sure is going to be a long wait and the platinum bezel at the right price.

I feel the consensus is if you want the closest rep OOTB then go with Noob. There are ways to improve upon it though... Get a better crystal, and swap the bezel insert.
Also depends which dial you go for. If you're getting the blue dial then JF has a more accurate color. If its Rhodium or Rolesium then Noob is already very good.
Personally i only have experience with NOOB Rolexes as i own two of them (114060 and 116610LN), i like it and find it really very close to genuine except for the bezel insert and DW/cyclop. I'm planning to get the Dark Rhodium 116622 BUT i saw the prices between JF and NOOB is like 100 bucks different.
This was the one i looked at and its 100 bucks more expensive than NOOB ETA2824, could you or anyone enlighten me and which to get before

I'm no expert, no idea why the JF version is so much more expensive... From everything I've read it seems that the Noob version is much better though in terms of detailing and case construction etc.
My personal opinion is to still go with Noob factory, especially since you're getting the dark rhodium. If you were interested in the blue dial at the very least you could consider JF since the dial colour is closer to gen.

@smoke Hello Sir, you seem to be a very knowledgeful member regarding Rolex and corresponding mods. I dont think Noob will fix that soon or at least looking at the status of the sub, which has a very high demand and still insert has not been corrected, dont see happening in near future. So my question is if there is a way to fix the gap, considering that also a gen platinum bezel is not easy to get and cost will make it almost a no go for this rep? There are many moddlers here so please join in if you can. Your input is very appreciated. Thank you in advace
Well i am consedering buying a yachtmaster from one of the TD's here wich do you guys prefer? Bs jf noob? Wich is the closet 1:1? So i have read the a2836 is the "best"movement

Think it's better you do some reading and decide for yourself. One size doesn't fit all.
I assume you are new to the rep game so I would recommend the Noob Yachtmaster (Platinum/ Rhodium dial) with A2836 out of the box.

Only BP makes these or used to at least.
For two-tone models, go for a wrapped or plated Noob Submariner 116613.
Yeh just have contact with tony im going for the wrapped sub noobv7 a2836 just wondering whot is the lifetime of a watch such as that one .if not wear it daily

NICE mod and black hole :O did you bought two watches just to mod it yourself? where do you get prof's "black hole" crystal? im interested.
I bought the Noob version of the watch and ordered a JF dial and hands at the same time through the TD. Then I ordered one of prof's crystals directly from him (@rnrprof) and sent it all out to @Rick914 who put it all together for me as well as a relume and full rebuild of the SA3135 for peace of mind.
