Agreed. And the dotted red lines applied on the gen CG in this comparison (amazing comparison, don't get me wrong !) are a bit over-angled. Abstract them and you'll see the diffrence with ZZF is really really small.

For me just be able to send out that X on the rehaut would make it absolutely fine !
This with a gen crystal could make a stunning hulk rep

I saw someone post (maybe Li) the rehault may be improved on the watches we get as the photos from Li are from a pre-release/prototype vs2.

Are you serious? You're going to have a hard time enjoying this hobby. I absolutely love this watch! I hope my eyes will stay blind for OCD-stuff and just enjoy lovely pieces like this one. However: I would love a gen xtal, I'm a fan of the black hole.

this pic comparison is wrong, you can clearly see that the left red line is completely exaggerated.
Just look at the pic without lines and you'll se that they are very similar afterall

This is at least the 2nd time you're saying the this flaw is intentional. It's not because you don't understand it that the factory did it on purpose. Please stop spreading rumors and conspiracy theories

Hello guys

It is been a while that ZZF has released their V2 Submariner Hulk, and thanks to smoke for the review of ZZF V2 Hulk he did for us.

And now I am glad to tell that they are going to release an upgraded Hulk with new green insert on very soon.
We have prepared this review for you guys based on the sample we had from ZZF, since a lot of our customers are asking the info already.
Due to the virus affecting in China, comparison pictures will not be very many in this review and wish you all kindly understanding.

As we all know that the GREEN color on Hulk Submariner is always been the pain in the ass, none of those existing reps are quite close to the gen green color.
Even the Clean Factory V2 green insert on ZZF V2 Hulk is not that close either.
But now the new Clean Factory V3 green insert on ZZF V2S Hulk shall make this Hulk repping game to a new level.

OK, lets go to see pictures now.

And we can see that there is barely no color difference from V2S insert and gen insert when comparing side by side with gen watch.
Also after checking the real sample on hand, it looks even better to me than the pictures showed.

Dial Comparison of 4

Noob dial color is more gold but less green with bold sunburst marks, date window shape is the closest to gen but edge got polished instead of sanded.
ARF dial color is more green but no gold with good sunburst marks, date window is not quite good.
ZZF dial color is closest one to gen with both green and gold color as well as the sunburst marks, date window edge is like gen sanded but shape is not good as Noob.

Can’t agree more... I used to be very very OCD about small details but come on who look at their watches from that angle.....

Because something seems obvious and logical to you doesn't mean that it's true, and it certainly doesn't make it a fact. You're just stating thoughts and passing them as facts, and that's exactly my point. I'm not asking you to shut up, just to state your opinion as what it is, an opinion. Has it ever occurred to you that they may have added an X there because they made a mistake? There may be many reasons, but adding an intentional flaw is unlikely, especially from ZZF when you see all the efforts that they have made recently to improve their subs up to tiny details.

It would have been wrong if the random serial had incorrect no. of digits. The serial is starting with X and has exactly 8 digits including X which is correct for gen Rolex random serial.

You are spot on mate, its definitely a spacing issue but not that its printed "ROLEXX". Its just an illusion due to the spacing issue you mentioned. But I'm sure how many times would you or somebody else would look n spot this "ROLEXX" on your watch on wrist. A very trivial issue being exaggerated many times imo. But I understand for others as its each to its own.

Great work with this pics mate ! It really looks ugly and it ..obviously.. could be easily avoided by the factory, but who knows for sure.
However I think on the wrist will be not that terrible like in this ultra magnified pics (at least I hope so cos I just bought the V2S ahaha)
