Off topic but here's a screenshot from a Youtube video with a marker defect on a gen Air King, can you spot it?

love the double 9, but the 6 also looks like it has a divot on it. I know these have the “streaking” on the numerals depending on light source. But that 6 looks Iike it was mis-cast.

I spotted the wonky marker straight away as it bugs me but many won’t really notice and if you are happy go for it.

Yeah me too it's pretty evident, but looks an easy fix as long as it's not glued on the dial

9 marker is crooked slightly I think.

Rejected before i posted. The 9 and 6 need to reinstall when u move the dial little to the right, the 9 and 6 will be more crooked. They already ordered me a new one. The main purpose is about bezel color and dial color. What is your opinion?

I did some research about the Rolex. And when i look at the video how the ceramic bezel made from Rolex. After they engraving the bezel, they coat it with platium powder on top and then smooth it. I think that part they also coat thin layer of Platium all the bezel too. On the LN it is hard to see the because it black, but we see some shiny little sparkle. But on the LV, u will see the green and little brown platium shade when moving in different angle. I think that why all the maker cannot get the right LV bezel color yet.

That is just my view. So i dont know what yoi guys think. Need the expect opion about it.

discuss what? this is not rolex factory making the watches, Yes its crooked a little... its crooked because they set the hole wrong or glued it wrong. 2+2=4.

If i would not even notice the crooked 9, why i knew the 6 was crooked too. Open your eye and look it. If you cannot see that flaw, stop talking about it. I am thankful for everybody here point out the flaw. I posted it BECAUSE I WANT TO SUPPORT OP AND EVERYBODY HERE. Everybody is waiting for v2s dial and bezel color to compare with v2. Only a few people here got the QC and im the one of it. I did it for them, not for the person like you, only think that you are big and hush other people. Big mouth with nothing. "Remember nothing is perfect, will you live with it. If not, make it perfect like you want it".

I really like the Arf bezel insert, I guess that’s what you’re referring to. it just looks quality in hand as all their watches do. A good friend had a feb hulk and he’s said they ARF I’m looks the part and I agree. I’m not to worried about the perfect shade of green.

Before this v2 i would have ordered an ARF and swapped the dial for the zzf and used gen hands. Still may go that way

Insert color is pretty different though, need clean dial, insert and gen hands.
Then there's the movement, which is not the VR...
In the end I would just keep case and bracelet.

Thank you sir, I'm glad I ordered the ARF V3 now after seeing this. To me the ARF insert looks a tiny bit lighter in color. Not enough to matter to me as the gen hulks bezel has varied in color over the years as well.

A bit off topic again but anyone here can advise if you can swap the ARF A2824 DW with the ZZF A2836 DW as a direct swap?

It would be an easy fix to the ARF DW. Although the A2824 v3 has nice thin gen like font the alignment is all over the place with each number.

You can't just take a datewheel out of a 2836 and use it in a 2824, the tooth ring on the 2836 is taller to allow it to sit at the same height as a daywheel. There isn't room beneath the dial in a 2824 to accommodate the extra height. This is the major difference between the two movements - the ability to have a daywheel in the 2836.

You would have to slice the overlay off both movements and reglue the 2836 DWO onto the 2824 DW.
