Bezel and Dial Review of ZZF V2S 116610LV Submariner and Comparison vs. Gen, ARF V3 and Noob V10

I’ve been reading quite a bit about the ZZF V2S and the ARF V3 but can anyone tell me the differences between the ARF V3 and the ARF Max? Couldn’t seem to find anything on the search function.

Yes that’s seems to come up a few times but I think the case on the ARF seems to be more like gen. Just wondering why the ARF max is more expensive than the ARF V3. There must be some improvement.

I think you mean VRF MAX.

Lubricating metal does not ever require soaking overnight as there is zero absorption. Completely pointless.

I was always thinking why people do that like it soaks in all the oil overnight.

For the vaseline treatment you don't even need to take the bracelet off just a 5 min job with a Q-tip wipe if off afterwards and you're done the result is excellent.

If your glidelock is unable to unlock, you just gotta use a flat screwdriver and pry it, I done that before, but i covered the tip with a cloth to prevent scratching it. If you are able to slide it, wd40 might help it with a little "exercise", otherwise the bar holding it might be damaged.

The glidelock is able to unlock, just that sliding it up and down is pretty jammed. I already tried wd40 and it helped on a little. Any other advice?

Sounds like you need to get the bar holding it replaced.

Soak is the wrong word but you do want the fluid to permeate between the links and into the joints which it won’t immediately. I like to submerge bracelet in olive oil rotating on each side and moving the bracelet around it’s full motion so all sides of the links get exposed

Yes same here share your approved QCs and also for LN date and no date so people can spot if they improve something else as well. The dial, rehaut and serial came without any notice so might be more pleasant surprises coming maybe (why not even CGs). Even without the CGs after these improvements it's worth to upgrade in my opinion. Specially the no date will be so gen like OTB.

Looks great, thanks for the photos. Saw some earlier QCs from May and June, there was still a mix of batches with the X serial, lower case clasp code and weird X on the dial. The one you shared seems to have those fixed. What i noticed is that the SELs seems to be a hit or miss. Look forward to more approved QC pictures, appreciate it, thanks.
