While it is true RWI members tend to favour TDs and tell aggrieved customers to take it on the chin more often than I'd personally like, some reflection is in order here. You could have simply caught and released this one for a marginal loss, since you did receive what you paid for. Some less sentimental posting would also help your case (in future, as in this instance you're too far gone to garner any sympathy). Just my 2p.

I have no sympathy nor patience for morons like this, they are just getting worse.
What I actually have is a condition known as C*ntstipation, which is caused by having to deal with too many of them in the one day ;)

I even have my own coffee mug presented to me by C*nstipated sufferers anonymous.co.uk

So you've learnt a few important lessons :

1) Check T&C of TDs. Don't remove stickers off of watches before testing functions
2) Dealer websites are a pretty untrustworthy past their photos. It's up to you to do your research and ask for more photos

We notified you via email on November 28 that the watch is a faux chronograph before you placed your order. The movement is a Slim automatic movement with fully decorated rotor like genuine movement” it says “decorated rotor” not the movement function as genuine. We can only get the exact model for you but unable to Mod the movement to fully functional as gen.

However, we can offer you a refund if you return the watch to us in brand new condition, without any scratches or marks. This process is quite straightforward. The issue we are facing is that the factory wasn't accept for return because of your returned watch has scratches and marks . Additionally, we have received many threatening emails from you, which raises concerns about your intentions.

At this point, I can only return the watch to you after the CNY holiday, as I mentioned in my previous email.

Thanks for the clarification Ryan, I'm sure no-one here believes the fool, he's made certain of that with his stupid allegations re yourself and other upstanding members ;)

I will send the OP some gritty old axle grease so when he gets his watch back he can shove it where the sun doesn't shine (y)

Although I’ve been a horology nut since before the days of quartzites, I’m relatively new to the RWI forum, but in that short time I’ve seen quite a number of people new to the forum complaining, mainly due to their own incompetence that they have been shafted by a TD.

However, when you study the facts available, it invariably shows the poster to be the scammer!

You are 100% correct, it really boils my piss, there are ways and means of dealing with a problem.
As soon as I read the title I knew it was gonna be a shit show.

As you correctly say the only problem was the gobshite no nothing not understanding the limitations of Quartzies, (AFAIK it had to be I've never seen a 7750 that does hours with regular time). Also being scared shitless that his peers might notice when he has told them all his toys are genuine (y)

I think they know that already, below is a picture of his "Ferrari" , "The Prancing Celica" 🤣

This wasn’t a real Ferrari you sold me. I want a refund.

Bro you bought what is clearly an A7750 for less than half the cost of the clone movement. On top of that, you’ve bought dozens of watches and spent years on this forum so you know damned well what you’re doing. I think it’s ridiculous when I see people claim they know shit and then backtrack at their convenience. You chose to be a combination of lazy, obtuse, and ignorant. This is NOT the hobby for any of these characteristics as you’ve found out.

Actually I was wrong above when I said 7750, but the point is still valid, as I've not seen any mechanical chrono just run subdial hours with time hours on a subdial , but as ever I'll stand corrected on that because I have no experience of cal 4401

From OP ;) ....

on 26 Nov ordered a watch which states “Genuine movement Caliber 4401

The Runaround
On several emails, I told them they I don’t want to wear a watch that screams FAKE because I would feel like an idiot wearing it, so please take more of my money and send me a newer generation replica where all the chrono hands work same as genuine. But they kept responding that I should be happy with this garbage, because the hand that should show minutes shows 24 hours. Like 24 hours on dial for 30 minutes, how great. On 3-4th time asking for the address where I can send the return, they finally gave me their address and I’ve spent 30 USD for sending it back.

Yeah, but then his linkup is to clearly a modified 7750. I know everyone piles on in this "I got screwed by the TD" posts. But I have yet to see any that come out at any more than throwing toys out of pram level. We've all had issues in this hobby. Some of us just choose to privately handle it via DM to the seller/dealer/modder and if needs be privately include a mod. Might be a lesson for others...

Bro, you paid less than $400 for an obviously bottom tier AP chrono. You didn't bother to read or research one iota. The clone movements go for 8-900 bucks and were just released.

Can't speak to any marks pre or post return drama but truly terrible job on ordering. You paid for junk you got junk, stop yelling at people.

I don’t see it the same way
Whenever an established member has put forward a claim backed with evidence and expressed objectively, the members have mostly supported to push to hold the TD accountable

Just a few months ago, new probationary TDs have been dismissed based on such events

That's right, I wondered where I got the 7750 from, it was a 7750 Mod i.e 7750 with deco plates to look slightly like 4401 !!

Thank you good sir, I was about to book my bed in the funny farm, at least I only edited a thread coz I thought I got it wrong 🤣

InTime gave you an opportunity to send the watch back and pay the difference for a better model, something they were under no obligation to do. That they expect the watch to be mint in order to accept it back is a given, if you ask me.

That you choose to take this as a personal attack rather than a learning experience is entirely on you. But that being said, I STRONGLY disagree with your way of handling business and your attitude bothers me.
