Now I regret not getting a kW 127 earlier... Any latest news when a new batch of kW with kW movements will be ready?

I'm a proud owner :D But it's not fair that others pay the big buck and get SF movement instead of KW!

Dear friends,
I understand everyone that owns a Fiddy , now want to check if it is a good one, send the QC pics and ask.

Just some considerations...
1- If you take the time to read from the beggining, from page #1, you will understand better what's going on.
All known KW-SF hybrids have been sourced recently. So, if you received your QC pics before early September you shoudn´t worry.
2- If you still have doubts, in page #1, you have a nice explanation by @undercoverz (fisrt post) , and a nice collage/summary done by me, to let you check your Fiddy by your self.
3- If after doing all the above, you still have doubts, think you have been fooled, and want to post your QC pics, sure you will get help from any member. But, please, help us too, and give us also some usefull info, as: "date when you received the QC pics, Dealer, wether have you been offered any solution or explanation, any aditional info you have,etc..."

Summarizing,this thread exist to:
rise the warning flag and help affected people to find a solution, and see if all togheter can figure out what happened. Of course, also to give people the tools/explanations, so they are able to identify by their own an flawn KW-SF 127 hybrid.

So, I would suggest do not just throw your QC pics of a watch sourced 3 months ago, with out reading the entire post, and check by yourself your unit. If still unable, please, do not just send your pics without giving any additional info (where, when) about your unit.

By doing the above, we´ll be able to keep this thread clean and focused on tracing the problematic units.
Thanks for reading. Best Regards.

P.S.
I would like to end this message in a positive way, a breeze of hope.
Here's an example of what can/should be done.
A well know TD, you all may know, Toro, has managed to attend/help recently (just a few days ago), one of his affected customers, by refusing an hybrid unit and finding a GOOD one. So is still possible to find goo one. Thumbs up for Toro !
Also our fellow member, Naburus, ordered by the 8th October from Sora, and received at home the 19th Oct a genuine 100%KW. Great job, Sora !.

A third, well known Dealer, wich is not a TD here, talked to KW guys this very week. He told was told "soon" we will be able to order the new KW batch for standard s/n xxxx/1950. The wait could be longer, about 3-4 weeks, for OOR series.
So let's wait and see how this new batch come. QC pics of new batches will be wellcome :)

Hey, so JMMC talked to me about the issue, as I've been QCed with both a SF movement and genuine KW movement. I thought I'd like to let you guys know the easiest way to differentiate them without asking anymore "is mine KW?"

As mentioned before, this was only a temporary thing where KW probably borrowed SF's movement when they ran out of their own, unless your watch was ordered and QCed in the duration of September, 2015. Your Pam 127 most likely comes with the correct movement.

Seems the problems are over, looks like they are back with the proper movements. Hope it stays that way.....

I can report that Jordan from InTime came through and was able to source a KW for me. Pics below. So now I have 2, since I was able get one from M2M last week. I'll be selling one as soon as I get this second one.

Many thanks for the nice post

I agree with you that "old" reps are not affected for this issue, therefore QC pics form those reps are not useful

Anyway the pics of the reps published can help to identify the problem. But I agree with you we don't need more and people should avoid publish pics of "old" correct movements.

darkelfx - Restocking fee for a watch you rejected at QC stage and that has not been shipped??? That's quite disturbing and downright reprehensible. I will escalate this to the mods, if I were you.

Come for the watches, stay for the drama! [emoji12]

Has that movement-issue gone?

Does new KW-batch has the correct movement?
