Depends on the problem, usually they fix it replacing the broken partThanks for all the input! i will be sending it back.
Do you know if dealers typically repair or exchange a watch that we send back?
Do you happen to know the weight of a gen 55? can't seem to find the info anywhere, besides the movement weight of 4.3gSo far reliable and keeping great time. Just as gen, i barely feel it on the wrist. The only mod i would personally do perhaps in the future is a small one. Actually try to get the crown fully against the case, since its slightly sticking out more than gen (on all)
but again that is a very slight slight mod. Some want to do AR on the crystal, but i think it's fine as you are not gonna fool anyone anyway with the movement. @SMP_lover is currently working on Velcro straps and elastic straps, so that might be a nice upgrade too!
Btw, put it on multiple scales all around the same grams:
Best I've found are from Watch2parts on Ali, but they're stupidly ridiculously expensive and they don't label sizes so they may not actually fit. Five-spline screws are easier to find than the four-spline. Not sure whether the thread is an M1.2 or an M1.4 but I'm going to guess the former.Anyone knows where to source screws? BBR screws are darker, i'm looking for a lighter screw set to replace with
Wonder if the same weight as carbon, I don't think so!Anyone knows where to source screws? BBR screws are darker, i'm looking for a lighter screw set to replace with
You sir are now ready for summer lol. No worries, mine is still working absolutely flawless. You cannot overwind it, so wind it how many times you want.@Prizon @Stuvetjee @Falter
Thanks for your advice and opinions chaps. Watch arrived today and happy I went with the BBR. I bought the ZF clasp too and agree it deffo has a better finish/mechanism.
Let’s see how long it lasts
Was it the V2 ?Just a heads up, mine died literally after less than 3-4 days of owning it. And it was freshly serviced as well. Mine died right when I was setting the time. So please keep that in mind. I feel the movement is still extremely fragile on these. And I'm jealous but happy for those who's owned theirs for a long time and had no issues.
I’m glad you changed ‘date’ to ‘time’ as your original post confused the hell out of me!! .Just a heads up, mine died literally after less than 3-4 days of owning it. I’m sorry for your misfortune bud. Hope you get the watch you deserve once it’s all doneYeah I caught that just in time lol
The watch is currently with prof, getting a 2xAR treatment on both the top and underside crystal.
Prof said he'll send the watch to his watchsmith for a diagnosis as well, regarding the movement. I have a feeling it might be over banking.
Crossing my fingers.
I already dumped so much into this watch, I'm hoping it will come back perfect as it really is a joy to wear when everything is working.
