Got mine yesterday - Easter had played havoc with ParcelForce who are crap on a good day.

first observations -

Best rep I have ever seen. Weight, fit and finish, brushing and polishing is totally gen like.

Dial is incredible. Watch it become glossy, matt and even tropical in the sunlight - they nailed it.

Sharper bezel teeth is a total non issue - you just don't see any difference on the wrist - even close up.

Bezel has a very nice 'click' but overall the needs to be a tighter / stiffer.

The insert is amazing - I was driving last night and the streetlights were lighting up the engravings as bright as day.
Colour is great. Hooray for the end of people painting their watches. Only small issue is the engravings are slightly too deep and can cast a shadow.

Really does feel like 43mm - a lot bigger and heavier than a SD4000 let alone a Sub. I was surprised.

Date mag - seems they fixed it on later V2 - exactly the same as Noob V7.

LEC - has the correct visibility (barely there) but is a little low down.

Crystal is great - black hole effect is there, not quite as sting as gen, but good enough I would say.

I can't wait for them to release a Submariner this good.

The downside - having this will really make your Noob V7 feel like a fake :(

Hope they also fixed the bezel teeth in the new bach.

LEC? Just to understand the lingo.

LEC - Laser Etched Crown - the coronet which Rolex 'hid' inside the bottom of the crystal so no one could fake their watches....

Bezel click by no means a big issue. I dont think anyone has ever bought a watch because of that.

Lucy@Truetime 168. She is exceptional but not fast. If you are expecting fast you will not be happy.

Took the crystal off mine today and was also pleasantly surprised that ARF actually made the bezel correctly using a tension ring to secure the insert as per gen! No more glued inserts. Tricky bit is getting the retainer pressed back on as it’s bigger than I’ve got!

amazing watch looks so good. I compared with gen pics and there seems to be a very small difference in the hands ,not that that bothers me .

I got mine very quickly. Best out of box rep I ever got. Even the A2824 is still working like a champ. Love it.

The only thing that still holds me back from going for it is the coronet on the clasp. At this level that's something unacceptable.
Could you drop a photo of the clasp? Perhaps this batch got an upgrade there too.

Here are the clasp photos. As I was adjusting the bracelet I would say it was well made. The only issue I am aware of is the screws used in the removable links are too tight. My incoming ARF DSSD the bracelet will go in the oil bath treatment as soon as it arrives.

I checked with Ryan regarding the updated batch with updated bezel teeth and he said it the only update done was the v2 update. I guess I will wait till ARF officially comes out with the V3.

Yeah, same old sh... The coronet is still very amateur and inaccurate. Anyway, thanks for the photos.

They should fix the "0" in "30" its a little shorter than the "3" then it would be perfect.

I think he was being sarcastic

Ah. Difficult to notice sarcasm on this one now - been so many nit picks...
like the clasp thing above. 'Totally unacceptable' and holding the poor guy back...

i love mine and think it's freaking awesome.
