just received the watch doesn't wear that large
the build quality is F ing outstanding by far the best stock rollie, the crystal and the cyclops are far better than stock noob,and regarading the datewheel i think only number 3 5 6 8 that's a little bit too thick but wont be noticeable at all
everything screams gen

and also does anyone have the photos of this rep showing the matte dial ? it's night in here and could not find the sunlight but using the flashlight from my phone it doesn't look that matte

Congrats and enjoy!! Let us see the dial pls... Just to remind everyone that with the SD4K dial supposed to be matte on gen and glossy on the rep. When I got the rep was indeed glossy but you could not really pay any attention to this fact and Rolex produced some glossy dials by the end of the SD4K's lifecycle!! So don't worry about it, enjoy the amazing finishing of the 904, the correct size, case, bracelet, very good insert (!!!!), nice red paint text, etc etc etc.. just enjoY!!!

yes it looks matte even in the gen it doesn't look that matte

the only think that bothers me is the bezel teeth,but it' hardly noticeable the others are purrfect

No one will know and you will forget once you have it on the wrist!!!! Just enjoy it!

The diver link is the first thing I take off. Much cleaner and comfortable. Unless you need the length, it’s clumsy. Just remove like a regular link.

Hi

That article is wrong. The Gen has a Matte dial - it’s quite textured in the sunlight.

Also the AR coating under the cyclops on the Gen does sometimes create a blue hue (but it’s very subtle)

The dial text is also al little off on the rep but it’s very good overall. The bezel insert is the best I’ve ever seen of any rep.

I honestly didn't realize the gen dial was THAT textured. It looks awesome. From the rep pics, the dial is matte but there is a lot less texture.

Same here. Decided I had to have this. Paid that day. Out of stock lol. No eta on when the new batch will be released, no problem. Three weeks later I'm nothing but anxious. Every email notification I get I have a small glimmer of hope that it may be the one saying, received it today here are your QC pics. But alas... nadda

That's unfortunate. I hear Germany is very strict with shipments from China. Triangle shipping usually costs more but is worth it for lessening the risk of seizure.
