those images are killing me
No nothing dude, still waiting made a order on 1.12.17 and still no payment instruction looks like nobody wants my moneyHave you received payment instructions yet? I'm still waiting.
You can have a watchsmith remove the crystal and then the underside AR coating which JF does on the entirety of the crystal (Not gen spec but then no one's complained about clearer crystals) to make the AR'd cyclops pop.Regarding the blackhole effect. It seems like the cyclops indeed has 2 ar but the rest of the crystal seems also has some decent ar. As a result the blackhole is less visible. Has anyone experience how to make the crystal more glare so that the ar on the cyclops seems stronger? Is that a possible solution in any way?
Edit: Please ignore that idea seems stupid now.
@jembediah The SD43 is 904L steel vs 316 on the Noob. ARF case brushing is also closer to Gen vs the Noob. I think ARF has better overall tolerances vs Noob. The feel of it ought to exceed the SD4k. The Noob SD4K also didn't have insert engravings as dark as the Subs so that helps. You want the V2 ideally not the latest V7 with wrong SELs.
Also, DW is being fixed on the next run of ARF SD43 from what I had read somewhere on here. Cyclops isn't bad either from what I can see from the pictures on this thread.
I think mine is due for delivery today. Slightly excited!!
OP, your photos are excellent, and you definitely have the eye, so much so I would not be surprised if you are a pro photographer. You definitely made this watch look so much better! Of course, it helps that ARF did a good job on this one. Yes, ARF should make you a consultant. Am ordering one because of your post. Take a bow!
I just had an email exchange with Ken and he said it will restock soon so they are taking the orders.
