White dial arrived for my friend he wants the Gen but I’ve told him how nicely finished ARF reps are and to try this out first.

Wow the gap between Rolex and Oyster Perpetual is massive . Totally wrong unlike the JF dials.

It is noticeable in the dial shots you posted though your eye is drawn to it IMO . Looking at TD sites it looks like they have used the existing JF dials in the ARF red grape and grey which is great because they are spot on .
That's because they have used the existing JF dials ( grey, red grape, blue ) in the new ARF watches ? So the spacing is correct ! The grey and red grape are spot on to the gen IMO , however the blue colour was noticeably wrong .
I agreed it’s there, I just said I didn’t think it was massive. It is weird that they got it wrong on this white dial.

What's the consensus on which ARF dial is better, black/white or grey/grape? I've been heavily researching them and from I can tell from all the photos I've found is that you have to choose between the black dial's bad Rolex/Oyster Perpetual spacing or the grey dial with a bad crown. Some of the photos of the ARF gray dial I've seen the crown looks terrible, especially on the puretime website. Which tell do you all think is more noticeable? Besides those two things I think they're both pretty spot on. I'm not concerned about the GENE VA clasp issue. The only other thing that I'm not sure about is if the ARF black dial has the sunburst effect like the gen. I downsized my rep collection to purely a TC V6 sub with gen bezel and TC Yachtmaster so I need a worthy addition lol.
Gray dial comes from J factory, so it's spot on. The best thing is to franken it adding a gen dial in order to get a 1:1 rep
I looked at several photos of the grey dial on the ARF vs the grey dial on the JF and the ARF looks worse. The O in the crown looks more circular than oval and the points don't look 3D. I know it could be lighting but from everything I could find it looks worse than JF. I hope it's the same because the JF is pretty good.

does the new arf is lower quality than Jf except for the 904L? I was following a thread but I don't know where the ARF went after the V1

If you upgrade the dial wouldn't the hands be a tell? Guessing that the lume would look off when not in direct light.

I'm saving my pennies, I think the white dial Oyster Perpetual and the new AP offshore diver on a bracelet is the perfect two watch combination for me.
