Looks pretty good except the datewheel - too big and too bold. Really wish ARF would ditch the SH for the VR. That fixes the datewheel too.

Agreed. Also classic ARF with the datewheels. Sometimes you can get quite lucky as I have with my Datejust, but they're usually the first thing to swap out.

It's a shame, because otherwise is great, but at least a small price to pay and relatively easy mod.

Are we all satisfied that this ARF is the best GMT straight out of the box with no mods?

Is the SH3186 movement proving to be good?

Any other thoughts?

(I’ve just sold a couple of watches and looking to buy another black bezel GMT)

If that's a gen DW, it's a flawed one. The fat curve at the top of the two is so wrong.

Agreed, looking at my old superfranken photos the 2 is definitely off.

The DW font is so blotchy, how can it be gen? The 2x mag makes it look even worse.

i think is gen DW, just the x2 magnification on cyclops looks strange, but it has beem discussed before, there were gens also like it

If that is the watch of tony I can confirm it has a gen Datewheel, because I did the build. Numbers look different in different light but it’s 100% gen ;-)
