Yes you can change just the insert. You'll need to take the bezel off, remove the ARF insert, reinstall the bezel then press the gen insert in. It's pressure fit. Be very careful, ceramic inserts can crack.

I honestly think the DW is a hit or miss thing. Proper QC is needed to avoid this.

Recently got 2 of these to be used as base for other builds, both have terrible DWs.
Fat and ugly looking DW is ARF's domain The rest of the watch is amazing build quality though!!

27 looks thinner to me

Font is the same, painting is not consistent. However they are still better than what I got some weeks back.
