Thank’s a lot for you advise, i will cover it also. But it will move with time ?do you see any other small problem on this watch ?
thank’s a lot

Move? It can move from left to right as it looks now. But it wont grow if that's what you mean. All reps have minor flaws. Yours looks overall very good. Nice DW and cyclops alignment.

Upper lugs have 2 tape pieces on each side (total of 4) and looks pretty good now when the "gap" is centered and covered so you cant see through it. And my gap was bigger than your QC pic shows

Easy fix i told you, that is my patent haha

From all flaws that can be on the reps, SEL is the least relevant. I see gens every day with do big gaps you can put a coin in it

haha, i don't really care about the Sels :D but i feel better now knowing that gen have also problem with Sels.

I saw their Wimbledon and it looks very good. How good is their 3235 I wonder

I've heard a lot of people complain about the gen 3235. It's loud and it "feels flimsy" and apparently, when you look at it in the case it is small and looks flimsy. Other than the power reserve, it's all downside. So I've heard.

So I wonder if the rep replicates these features as well.

You have one? Doing the math, from the prices I've seen, makes zero sense to do a datejust franken with a gen movement. At least considering the movements I have seen are $3000+. With the time, patience, energy, and money you'll sink into that franken, you'd be better off waiting for a deal on a gen 126300. I've seen them sell for under $6000... now that we are past the initial corona virus shock, you can still get them for low $6000.

Unless you have a hook up on that 3235 movement. Then thats pretty cool.
There are ways to get one pretty affordablly if you really wanted to. Comparatively.

Hm. Well, maybe I'll eat my own words and look into this more lol.

But probably still won't take it too seriously. There's been some debate about this, but I have a feeling rep factories will start making 3235s pretty decent eventually.

haha - or crazy idea. People could stop obsessing over nothing :(

(a guy can dream)

Yeah I feel you. I would understand if people were regularly making "super frankens." But I mean the case isn't even right.

Not to add gasoline to the fire lol.

But these watches are damn nice. The SEL is practically imperceptible, and the datewheel... well, we all know about that.

Fwiw people: I've bought watches from BK and he worked some magic and "adjusted" the magnification so the date wheel looked less bold. I didn't even feel the need to use me gen dw. I also had him use a Prof crystal. I wish I could elaborate more, but all I'm saying is that fkr those that don't want to go with a gen DW, there is a plan B. IF you determine its really unliveable.

Do you mind sharing those pics (again)? I believe you already have but this thread is like 460 pages. Do you know how he did it? I believe in science, not magic:handbagsatdawn:
