That is one hell of a good dial replica. Looking at close zoom pics you can sure see a difference but with the naked eye from 0,3m they must be very much a like...
ARF has done an amazing job with the Blue and Rhodium dial in terms of color reproduction and marker printing...but there is still a lot of noticeable difference in hand between gen and the ARF Rhodium I bought the rep ARF and then put a gen dial. Here is the summary:
- The sunburst on my ARF was a bit harsh to the eye. The gen is very smooth.
- When sunlight hits it at the right angle, the gen markers and coronet shine is stunning. Both Rhodium and blue in ARF never reaches that level
- If you hold them side-by-side, you will see that gen printing is crisper and almost a bit more bold. I rotate between my ARF rep blue and Gen rhodium, so for me this is even more obvious
- While it is hard to quantify (because this is subjective), the rhodium dial (contrast/shine) is accented better with a gen crystal. ARF crystal OOTB is very good but gen crystal (specially with dark dials like blue and Rhodium) brings out the color a bit more
