I have two Gen 3235 date wheels. My modder doesn't want to install them tho... any recommendations for who can do this? CONUS preferably. Thanks guys.

Can you explain why it makes it pop? My watch is currently being modded with gen xtal and dw and I'm looking forward to it

The clarity of a gen crystal (high quality glass) provides better contrast when the background dial color is darker (like black or blue). This higher contrast makes it "pop".

what about gen dw without gen crystal? Will it make difference ? Will fonts be smaller like gen or will be only crisp?

I haven't tried this combo. Gen DW definitely solves the fat font issue but I have read that the ARF cyclops magnification is wrong. If you are taking the time/money to replace DW, why not do the xtal?

Depends what you're after? Quantity or Quality, personally I think it's worth having a few very good reps (frankens) than lots of poor reps, but then again... each to their own really!
My two cents is that I have bought a date wheel 3235 and a genuine crystal and a genuine DJ41 dial.I'm waiting for them to get installed in the future. Can't wait
But I understand that's not for everyone. I just want 3 maybe 4 as close as I can get to gen.

At the end of the day you know that it is not gen and thats the problem for me to spend 2000 dolars on rep isnt it?

It’s not about one more watch, don’t see it that way. I think you need to first make what you have look close to perfect. Less watches but closer to gen looks is what I would suggest!! Good luck...

I just received my very first rep, and this ARF Datejust 41 meets my expectation. I got the Grey dial Jubilee Fluted. My question to others is, does your grey dial look kind of brown? Like a slight brown hue to it? If so, does the GEN have a brown hue to it too?

i want to order that same watch so any feedback would be welcome

Blue Dial is nice outdoors or in bright light but I get bored of it fast. My silver datejusts are my most worn since they go with all my outfits at work. Blue is too country club for me.

I want the Wimbledon dial, sadly ARF doesnt make those.

BP has one, very cheap and with full plated middle links, including the sides. Its 21k bph though, but I dont mind that. I have the old version, with 28k bph, but with no planting on the sides.

Rzf makes a Wimbledon dial (SS, not gold). I've seen other members post pics. Looks pretty good.

These are the QC pictures I had from Puretime (Please note, I accepted this watch. I am not looking for help) just been posted to me, can't wait to get it. I'm changing the black dial to a genuine silver dial and a genuine date wheel and genuine crystal. So I wasn't that bothered about the dial or font...





I'll update this thread with real pictures once I receive it, for anyone who is considering a black dial.
