Ahhhh, I thought so, but the photo in direct sunlight makes the subdial look slightly brown which confused me. I actually thought it looked amazing and I wanted one - then realised I already have one lol.

Does yours not look any shade of brown in any lighting conditions? A flash pic might show something different.

Sorry, I missed this question. Errrm, I think perhaps it does 'seem' brown, just because the brown bezel tricks you into thinking it is brown. But it's definitely a faint black colour. However it looks very like most of the pics of Gen that I've seen on various websites because to my eyes, more often than not, the Gen looks 'off-black' to me (though some are very clearly brown to look at and I'm told that no Gen are black). The light does funny things I guess.

I removed the protector 287gr lol wtf i up with my watch

The Watch is awesome, and the powerfeserve is inseanse. Beautiful watch out of the box
