Thanks. Now will have a hard time choosing between the Pelagos and the 3777.... Might end up getting both. :D

Get the Pelagos (IWC is nice also, but I'm biased). It's scary close to the genuine. here's my genuine side by side with a replica I used to own.

So, I'll keep a very old post alive! I'm a newbie, very much so. I've been reading up on things. I'm glad to see that the 7750 movements problems have been addressed. I'm looking at an IWC spitfire cronograph. Which comes with the 7750 movement. I agree with fireice2. I love the look of a cronograph. Probably wont use the function everyday. But, when I need it I want it to work. 1 new question if I may. How accurate are they? In reading up on TDs, along with the pics during their QC, then take an accuracy test. To see how many seconds plus or minus they lose a day. That was something I never thought about. So how reliable are they in general, and what is acceptable? I know you get what you pay for. But just would like to see what is to be expected with a well made, properly running rep. Thanks

So as not to get people pissed at me for asking dumb questions. I did my home work about the accuracy of auto movements. Got answers.... so nevermind..

Does anyone know what the PR on a a7750 is?

Also, how long should the Chrono function for at full charge before it runs out of power?

Would also like to chime in here: Any thoughts on the improvement in reliability of A7750's with the seconds dial @ 6? Are these still considered time bombs?

Thanks in advance!

Very interesting read. Before making my purchases, I have been reading a lot about 7750 and seeing all the reliability issues, I was scared. I did not know that there was a significant imporvement somewhere around 2018-2019. Usually people complain aboout there being dust and dirt in the movement, causing early failure, so advising out of the box service. I suppose thats not needed anymore

No, in my experience (last one bought, received and sended back ine week after) are not reliable. Exactly same shit that they were 10 years ago.
Never again for me.
