If you swap the AR+ dial and movement, put it in the ZF case you will probably have the best current build available. ZF case and bezel is good but subdials are too thick. AR+ has a good dial but the case is slightly too wide for the bezel.

For the ZF I ordered the older reference 116500. Just to compare the size of the older reference to the newer one by AR

Thanks @muiramas , @Storm. had already been very clear…even if he got angry 😅

I only like the case of this AR+, If it cost half the price I would get it to use the case and make it become a 116, it has the best rehaut available today in my opinion... the rest, the pics speak for themselves.

The AR+ case has nothing to do with the 126 Gen, I would say it’s a 116 case.

Even the AR+ dial has very little to do with the Gen, besides other details, they didn't reproduce the low relief effect of the subdials, but Clean and BTF will certainly do better, let's hope! 🤞

Zf 126500 have totally wrong lugs shape from the profile view, do not take that case

Lugs are longer. Makes case look longer.
The crown guard covers the crown more and therefore it looks wider. It's same size.

Yeah. You right. They both bad. Case is wider than the bezel by a lot on the AR+ and it’s curved not straight. To your point it’s definitely not worth getting the 2 watches then modding it with the swap, just to still have lugs that off. Also the AR+ movement in the video above sounded very loud too. Don’t rush into this has been the motto so far.

Ok, @SuperFlairWoooo mentioned it…ok, oscillating mass on ball bearings can be silenced, but in the video it seems exaggerated, not even my old JF AP Diver reached those levels!

Is it the fault of the skeletonization on the rotor which amplifies? It sounds like a grater though

AR+ it starts very badly…except only the rehaut

AR+F Daytona 126500 movement details

Hi all, I was preparing the gen comparison post of CF4131, thought it would be good to have another reference so I bought AR+F Daytona with ‘DD4131’. It turned out it’s not a true clone movement. It was modified from DD4801 movement which was made for their own brand watches.(link from Dandong...

TLDR; it appears to be a decorated Peacock (Dandong) SL-4801 movement. That's not a bad thing, but it's also not a true 4131 clone.
