Index at 12 o' clock seems to be a bit off center and inclined to the left.
but could be an optical illusion?
What do you guys think? Any other hints of visible flaws (as i mentioned watch already accepted)

If you've already accepted, why do you care? Wait till you get it in real life... camera can be deceptive, there are many illusions.

Looks great! Most remarkable is how good a job your TD did on the pictures. Leaves mine in the dust.

Enjoy!

I’m surprised how many people are taking the blue over the green. That green sure is sharp! Would love to see more of it.

Both is the right answer. Might wait for a new 3kf black version of the 5167 to join the family

OK guys so I have bought this new 3kf in blue... what are the "obviously" tells on these? I'm looking to mod it and fit a gen dial and buckle... so interested if I need to send the case off to be shaved and rounded in certain areas?

Read the thread? It's 12 pages long.

As for dial - I think it would be very hard to find the genuine dial. Buckle even might be hard as this is a bigger model than the standard aquanaut... Biggest tell on this watch is the fact it isn't white gold.

It’s made in stainless steel and the gen is in white gold.

On PureTime these 3KF are listed as V2. I cannot find V1 of the 3KF. Any ideas what the upgrades were to V2 on 3KF? I ordered the blue dial but when QC arrives want to ensure it is a V2.

Also, the green 3KF is not looking bad in real life pictures. Might have to get green as well!

Gen dial is $2k and gen deployant buckle and strap is about $1500....so $3500 for gen parts plus maybe $500 labor for modding so $4k total, plus the base watch...so around $4500 for a complete franken. Not worth it for the blue dial 5168 because the

Not worth it? Then gens are going for around 60k now, and I think 4k is a steal, I'll be adding a spongbob DW too...

The 5168G blue dial rep is so good that there is no need to add a gen dial or clasp. The dial and clasp are both near perfect... it is a waste of $4k.

Let him, personally I think its a waste of $4k too whilst only gaining 2-5% better looks. End of the day you still have a steel watch, it is supposed to be white gold, so quite a massive weight difference and to people in the know the absence of white gold is quite a big give away in looks too.

You need an account to view it. Can you tell us what is at the link

It's a franken 3KF with gen dial, DW, and 21k gold rotor (not sure if it's gen).
