if you take time to research the gen comes with variations of font thickness too sir. It is up to you to determine your preference in this aspect.
There is no specific year for the thin and thick fonts. In each given year since the 15500 was produced, there are at least 2 varying font thickness which I’ve seen. One variant is a lot bolder than the other. I’ve seen them in person but didn’t take pics. Unfortunately my own gen 15500s some with the same font thickness so I can’t really show you a meaningful difference.
Like I mentioned it’s a matter of preference. Not many members are aware of the difference in the 15500 date font. The first time I perused it, it was because my friend and I were both wearing the 15500 (same year) and my date font was a lot bolder than his. Both were gen watches and bought in the same year 2020. Both were black. Don’t worry about it and enjoy your watch sir.I did a bit more searching and although I only found a few, you're right they do exist, thanks for your knowledge and for clarifying, much appreciated.
the watch would have a ZF tag which is not shown in the photos......maybe the buyer can post to confirm or it is just an APSF which I personally like
It’s a very new watch that no one has gotten their hands on yet. If I were you I’d ask for another one and see if it flips over at 12 or if the problem is inherent to ZF’s movement. No harm in rejecting a QC, that’s what trusted dealers are there for -to provide reliable service and accommodate requests. Congrats in advance on your first watch!
Based on the video of my QC, the date flips over a minute early at 11:59 pm. Would be nice if it was for 12:00 am, but not complaining since there is a instant date change now.
