Mine came in. I love how it looks. How is the power reserve on yours? I have had trouble keeping power reserve. ~6 hours on my intermittent winder but it died overnight while off the winder. How long does it need to build up the reserve?

That’s my only complaint so far.

Nice shots @Yankee

Quick off-topic: May I ask what camera/phone you used? My 3 year old Oneplus flagship is starting to fall apart (wide angle & macro lense have a hardware failure). I'm waiting for the S23 Ultra to be released next month, but I'm open to alternative suggestions.

To get back on topic and to answer your question: I have not measured power reserve, but I think it should be within normal specs as it does hold up for at least a day and a half after fully manually winding it. What I'm starting to observe now is that apparently the rotor must get stuck too much to truly reach its full charging potential. It's hard to observe much of a problem visually though. It seems to spin normally.

What's the process for fully winding it? Perhaps I'm doing it wrong.

Mine is just an iPhone 13 Mini. S23 Ultra should be considerably better. I am an Apple user and know the base 14 have a similar camera to the 13 but the Pro and Max have upgraded cameras.

Ah OK thx. Yeah 14 Pro is pretty good. Wife has one, but I'm a hopeless Android drone. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

You just wind it manually and wait for it to make a change in sound. Like a click or similar that appears periodically when you keep winding. That's a clutch kicking in to prevent over-winding of the main spring. Your watch will now be fully charged, any further winding doesn't add energy. That's the same in pretty much all Automatic watches, by the way...

Thanks, that seems to be working well. The winding clicking is way more audible than on my old 15400 miyota.

Looks awesome!

What did you initially have doubts about in particular, if you don't mind me asking?

The black dial... I've read here about it being the most accurate but it doesn't have the dramatic color / light variations I see with the blue/gray/white dials.

It's actually more interesting in lower light conditions showing nice gray variations.

The ZF V3 certainly is a nice rep though.

Ah, yeah... I think I know what you mean. I believe the blue dial, which I have, (and the other colors) also had that certain "dullness", but it seems they improved this in the latest batch, especially the sunburst effect I believe. I was under the impression that ZF improved all variants in that regard, but apparently that seems not to be the case then.

Still, I actually think the black dial is very beautiful and will certainly find its fans as it is, perhaps those who prefer less flashiness?

Yes, I agree that it's overall a great rep. I think ZF hit it right in the park with this one and demand at the TDs seems to be quite high!
