Great first serious attempt! Too bad that the year font is so weird and that the screws in the movement are blue when they should not be. But yeah, v2 or v3 will surely end up in my collection!

I think you will find that the genuine IWC does have blue screws (granted they are slightly a deeper shade of blue- but blue all the same) 👍

Replica oblivion…
It looks beautiful but at the same time - the below sounds a bit ominous in terms of maintaining it if its wound down and stops and needs time/ day/date/month adjustment.

[Quality control QC] Because the perpetual calendar module is very complex, it will adjust the time before shipment, and the customer can wear it directly on the chain. ⚠️ Don't easily adjust, when you really need to adjust, first adjust the time to 8 pm to debug other functions, When debugging, first manually align the week, pull out a section to screw up the adjustment month (12 months linkage year), screw down about three laps to start adjusting the calendar

The deal breaker for some may also be that the YEAR only goes to 2028.

You guys think calendar of up to 2028 is not enough in this rep? There will be 3-5 updated models by 2026 :)

Thats not the point. Of course its enough.

But since it was supposed to be a full clone movement, its a bit dissapointing its actually not. The 2099 claim is hard to believe IMHO.
I would love to be wrong on this one tho.

This is what I was initially told, however Following confirmation today there is NOT independent numerical dials per digit (on year calendar). Which is a shame. So the comments on here are correct- almost. Interestingly it’s not all bad news- APSF has set the year wheel starting point at 2023. Therefore, there is 10 rotations which will take the Calendar year to 2032 (not 2028) 👍. Not ideal- but I can leave that. I imagine by then we will all be upgrading anyway- or have the option to update the wheel 🤞

But isn't this a gen movement drawing? I don't think the rep will go to 2099.

For now it is irrelevant whether it goes to 2032 or 2058 as the damn font is totally WRONG. How can they make such mistakes.
