Yes, that is so true..just can't seems to go with the rep strap IMHO. Have an incoming gen strap so just not too sure to slap it on the RCRG and get another from APbands after looking at yours for the 57th.
I personally feel quite a few of the strap maker has more than the ability but hmm...
I think my ApBands Hornback will look amazing on the 57th, but don't want to take it off my RGRC so might have to invest in another, or buy something else. And to top it off I want a black Hornback with red stitching for the panda

Was having a look at the 57th on a few gen websites. Seems that the major gripe with most, is that the stitching on the gen strap, is not an exact (or particularly good for that matter) match for the "peach" accents on the dial. Maybe worth waiting to see how the finish / match is on the production reps before having one waiting for the new arrival.

Never had APbands but I love the exotic look of the hide from your photos, that gen seems more laid back. As for our strap maker, giving a them a miss this time round.

Yes, had been running through too and all I have seen does seems more yellow than gold.
Haha, your getting right sucked in? rep strap I'm sure will be crap, gen black Hornback with gold stitching will I think be the way to go.

Yes mate, had the RGRC on earlier, got the panda on now, and been wearing the Panda to work instead of the diver, thou think it needs a nice blackhorn back with red stitching, but would need to source end links and a buckle.
