I'm kinda bricking it a bit now - approved my QC pics on tuesday, confirmation being shipped on weds but didnt get tracking number until friday and it still doesn't work so most probably it was sent on the friday. Bloody flybe overbooked my flight out on holiday and asked if we would go the day before, offered me €1k compensation (4 of us) and pay for the nights accom + meal etc - with no limit (hahah they will regret this). Anyways so instead of being around until friday night i'm now going thursday 7am and i'm up in the city on wednesday to take my next exam so unless it comes monday/tuesday then i'm in the shit.
Not because i want the watches for hols, which would be nice, but i've read DHL's policies and they send it back 7 days after attempted delivery :thud: and i won't have the card reference number or anything to ask them to hold for 11 days until i'm back. Fuarrkkkkkkk! My previous orders from ryan the shipping has been stupidly quick but sod's law sais it'll come thursday :facepalm:
Have you had yours delivered through Ryan by DHL before shark? Was just looking back at last orders as i remember they were really quick - last one was posted on a thursday and arrived on monday but it was through ems/fedex i think.. just wondering what DHL is like.

Dhl is usually 2 days from leaving china to your doorstep mate excluding weekends, thou there are sometimes delays with the shipping agent posting to avoid customs checks, tracking no provided sometimes changes, I'm just waiting to pay
Nothing else really for me other than the Ta, and I've got a OEM strap and deployant ready for it

The OEM strap for the Ta is SO nice - think it's my favourite part of the watch! OEM deployment? How much does one of those set you back out of interest?
Was at an AP boutique the other day. From what I remember, I believe the BP version of the blue is more accurate than the Angus version. Its much more of a darker shade and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get it to show the light blue that the Angus version shows. On the flip side, i believe the Angus white version is more accurate as the colors just bounce from white-silver-white whereas the BP always looks white.

Guys, if you have been around reps for a while, you can see the trend. Last summer, most reps were selling in the $250 range with clone movements and in the $300's with "swiss" movements and A7750's. Prices have skyrocketed. Look at the V6 Nautilus for example. Last year at this time it was selling for $368 with a selllita movement, now selling the same watch with a sellita movement is selling for close to $500 and they are selling the watch with a generic rotor and clone movement for $368. Obviously, the market is changing. Welcome to the new reality of repdom. :thinking:
With respect to Angus' 15400, I think $438 might be a fair price that many people will pay if the quality and accuracy is there (and I hope it will be). That said, I would personally have a hard timepaying $438 for the Angus Version based on the video and samples we have seen--not when you can buy the BP version from from Ryan for $368 and a couple of other TD's are probably going to offer it for $358.
As you can probably guess, I am pretty passionate about the Royal Oak. I held off on the BP Ultimate 15300, because the rotor bothered me and BP's first 15400 was a hot mess. I am very happy with my BP 15400. The BP 15400 may have a few flaws here and there, but the flaws are relatively minor IMO and it looks and feels like an expensive watch. Put it this way, if I were in a meeting sitting across from someone in a conference room and he was wearing a suit and my BP 15400, there is no way I could tell that it was a rep and I would like to think I know a little about this watch. For me, the BP 15400 was money well spent--but if something even better came along and was in the same price range, I might consider an upgrade.
Anyway, I am wearing the BP 15400 today, so here's a wristy:

V2 I think is a few good months away, both the Bp and Other factory Ro are very good, buy either and flip it when the new one comes out if its any good.
