Looks good to me! Doesn't seem to be any discolouration. Lighting isn't the best today but here's a poor attempt at a close up

^ thanks man!

Think I'm going to leave it I think, I'm actually impressed with the crystal on this one. I used to own a noob RG rubberclad and the glare on that thing used to drive me nuts, I could only really appreciate the colour and depth of the dial in low lighting.

Although I whacked an AR crystal in my 15400, I don't think I have the testicular fortitude to attempt it on this watch!

Just the plates on the movement buddy, nothing else. Unless someone can confirm they updated the crystal? The crystals on the GPs, which came out later are better in my opinion, but I haven't confirmed if this is the case on the updated models with plates. Good Luck!

I've only seen one gen schumi in my life, and that was the Ti version. It is not dark grey in everyday wrists. The color is definitely light grey. But having said that, you won't be meeting people with such a watch often. Wear with pride

Maybe the photos I've seen of the gen schumi are shot indoor giving dark reflection.
so the AP adverts are true to the real thing, not photo shopped?

disregard the adverts.... when handling the ti gen, it was definitely light grey... not dark under lighting... this is only obvious to those who have ever handled the gen, its just the small details that make it a true gen, the slight shimmer (44mm panda) and the better shimmer on markers (ap 15400)

i wouldnt worry too much about it... theres only 1,000 of these lying around and the owners wouldnt be wearing them casually

Agree with Retina in fact if you see any Schumi on the streets, I reckon 70% chance it's a rep. Since gen is only 1000 pieces in the world and the rep has more than say 10,000 pieces in the world.

Very , very good rep that just Oozes class. I haven't the largest wrist in the room at 6.75" , but it fits ok and the weight is kept down by the TI. The strap is great, Really supple compared to a rubberclad I had . Whilst the regular strap fits well on the last hole, I will fit the smaller strap later tonight at work regardless.

All in all it's an Impressive rep this one and I'm glad I went for the deco movement as it adds another level of visual interest , it's just nice to have it.

Thanks for looking!

Would you mind posting a close up picture of the face of your watch when you get a chance? I want to see the DW Box. i've been trying to purchase one from PureTime but the QC pics are showing some horrible cut shape of the DW box

This is a common QC problem I have personally experienced with JF APs.
You probably are not wrong. I had the same issue with my LBJ in the past.
