The 9015 is a pretty solid movement without many issues - and if so it is easily fixable for any watchmaker. once the deco is removed a stock 9015 lays underneath.
Better don't think about sending the watch back to china if it arrives DOA.

The CB looks really thick. Encouraging for thinning purposes

not much space for thinning it... if you cut the angle it will shrink in diameter and won't line up with the mid case. So you have to throw the deco away and thin the mid case itself.
but with that DW and CP the thickness is the last problem we should worry about...
Thank you. Well, midcase thinning is even better really, as it's visible from the wrist. Completely unanswerable question without the watch in hand, nonetheless... How much space saving would a deco plate removal on average achieve please?
