Can the factories just swallow their pride and make a high end quartz in the correct thickness? It’s so strange to me that they would make all this investment in a watch that’s 25% too thick, just so people can see a flawed rotor when it’s off the wrist.

Sadly factories make objectively strange decisions all the time along these lines. Like making a case thicker to fit deco plates in a watch with closed caseback

Annoyingly, outside of this forum, the typical buyer can't see the mm difference in thickness. They do however, think a watch has a better movement if it's decorated.

Factories just go with whatever sells

I will wait for KSwatches wanted to try there service anyway and so i don't need to do the whole triangle thing (which took years now because of holidays).

btw new QC Pics from Non TD (Trustytime) looks like the printing only looks shitty in some angeles.

The print actually looks decent in some angles. I’ve ordered a couple to see what this looks like in real life. Might be a few weeks before I can post pictures etc (due to holidays). In pictures the cannon pinion bothers me the most. I think I could live with the flaky print but it will be hard to live with the huge CP.
