Agree, wouldn't mind grabbing one but won't touch it til the rehaut is fixed. I have a DHGate rep with near perfect rehaut engraving. There's really no excuse for that.

Me too. ARF you can change datewheel, noobs you can buy an ARF bracelet to fix SELs, but the dang rehaut???? Man..that’s one mod I can’t do or touch with a ten foot pole

Let’s not forget how the rehaut barely has a polished bottom edge... can any owners comment on how that aspect looks in real life?

Rehaut should meet the dial at a defined bottom edge that is clearly distinct and steeper than the portion of the rehaut with the engraving which should reflect the minute markers and allow more light from the crystal to hit the dial making it look fuller than if the rehaut continued only with the angle of the engraved portion

Here's a pic of what you are describing. Too bad the model in the pic is not supposed to have rehaut engraving, lol. Looking forward to sanding this b!tch down... NOT

Right.

A couple of multi grit nail polishers + several hours should do the trick. Have fun!!!

Also question for owners: is the liquid dial effect actually from the markers smooshing the paint coat or is it just a light distortion reflecting the shininess of the marker surrounds?

I love the insert and I FRIGGIN LOVE the closed pinion hole where the second hand is fixed.
Noob, ARF! Close this goddamn hole aswell ffs!!
And yes, the rehaut on this ZZF looks absolutely terrible. Holy shhh it looks even worse than on the $260 KS Factory Sub I bought at trustytime.
Every $300 BP Sub smokes the rehaut of this ZZF lol. Not even talking about the perfect dial of BP Subs.
The heaviest and rock solidest bracelet I ever had on a Sub was on my 114060 No Date BP Sub 3130. 100% gen like and heavier than ARF or Noob...
Unfortunatelly I sold it.

U.K.
The dial appears to be finished unevenly or the markers have been pressed too hard distorting the area around the marker.

Absolute dealbreaker on a new watch but oh yeah I've ordered a few extra black Sub dials with TD orders so nevermind. I like to mix things up. Noob dials are OK.

If Rolex made something like this..it would be cool...

My ZZF is at watch maker for service and dial change, so I can't take new photos. Here's some pics from my phones memory.
