First one in GEN under is the case replica, the holes are at 0,14 IN in the first and 0,17in in the second. I have shipped back the case and the seller are sending me another one.

The caseback itself is not a good quality, lightweight not so solid. The thread damaged itself attempting to close the case.
I hope the the new one have better quality
This happened to me as well. Bought a case and ran into multiple issues starting with the 3135 not rotating smoothly in the case. After that I realized that none of the bracelets I tried (including a gen 78690) would fit.

Seller finally sent me a new case and while the movement fits just fine now the caseback threads are not done properly and I’m unable to get my caseback off… it just keeps rotating indefinitely. He’s willing to ship me another case if I send this one back but running out of patience, especially at this price point.

Same thing happened to me. I received a new case but again the holes in the bracelet don't match. I also had the same problem with the caseback, it spins forever.

However, I can say that the seller proved to be professional and refunded me twice the shipment with DHL and promised to give me my money back. I will definitely buy the case when all problems are solved

Hi everybody, the stock tube broke on my case. Does anyone know if a gen spec tube fits ?
And if they do, would someone be kind enough to recommend me a gods aftermarket one ?
Ok, so i bought a 24-5330 annnnnnd ... my crown don't fit. The hole is too small and and the crown does not go through. I think it's a 603 (gen) but not 100% sure. So now I'm a bit lost in Rolex references :/

Another issue: I removed the broken tube and it snapped here (at the red line)

I'm not sure how to remove the remaining broken part still stuck in the case. @KJ2020 May i ask for your knowledge on this issue?
Thanks!

Assuming you have an actual tube removal tool and it has failed to extract the remains, I would try an acetone soak. People use various adhesives to anchor a tube and acetone will dissolve pretty much all of them.

Make an arrangement where the tube can be submerged in an acetone pool than doesn't also cover the crystal gasket or remove that first. Also acetone evaporates quickly so your arrangement has to be contained within an airtight environment. A ziplock bag works fine. I would leave it overnight before trying to remove it again. I had to epoxy a socket onto a caseback once to remove it and it took several days of soaking to get it off.

A tube removal tool is basically an "Easy Out" bit, so you could just use one of those instead. It's a drill bit with reverse threads that bite into stuck bolts (with pre-drilled centers) and drag them loose.

Hammer a rat tail file into the the broken tube. Make sure the rat tail file is gripping the broken tube strongly. Then use a pair of pliers to grip onto the rat tail file and unscrew the broken tube.

Works like a charm.

Many thanks!

I installed the tube myself, i only add loctite. My biggest problem, and that's why the tube removal don't work is that the tube is broken in half. I don't see any remaining thread/knurll, hence my headache :)

Be careful not to destroy the case threads if using a more brute strength technique. You can end up needing a redrill and re-tap.

Acetone (Goof Off or nail polish remover) will eat through loctite very quickly. You could probably just douse the joint with some and hand press a round file or Easy Out bit in a pin vise, then unscrew the remnant.

My case just started doing this, it doesnt screw in anymore just spins forever. i can get it on and off tho just doesn’t tighten correctly. I had my build made by someone else tho so i can’t send it in. im thinking of just buying another one at this point.

Hey, did anyone manage to fix the problem with the caseback. I have two cases where the caseback is rotating. I just open a old build which had issues with the movement and than i could not get the caseback tight again. Any Ideas how I can fix it?

You can see it has a notch between the lugs, i imagine to fit a SEL explorer bracelet as it was advertised as an explorer case.
I'm pretty happy with the finish, exept for the crown that is shitty as it was said before.

You can see a gen crystal on some pictures, it fits well.
My bezel is 2.3mm tall, so it should be flush with crystal ? I'm not sure but is gen gasket 2.3mm for datejust?

Oh, and the craftman told me that he will be working next on a sub or gmt case, 5 digits[

I think an SEL bracelet for 114270 will fit. The case seems to be more of the early 2000s DJ/ Explorer. The lugs are so robust, hence why I built the roman DJ with a 604 crown & a 295c w/LEC

Is your bezel aftermarket? For the same Korean supplier?

Anyways, I noticed with DJs I have to use a weird 2.6mm crystal gasket. That what clears the hands well and gives the proper date mag. But I think with you using a 3130/2 movement in the explorer you should be fine with a 2.3mm gasket, if not a 2.5mm gasket will still be ok since it has no cyclops issue to deal with.

Hey Stone P, a bit late to the party, but maybe you still remember.

I build a 16200

Hi there, a bit late but maybe you still have any knowledge you're willing to share :)

I built myself a 16200 using the Korean case and I used a B 25 -295-1 (2,7mm height) crystal and I sometimes have the feeling that the mag is not correct (too zoomed in maybe). I might be super wrong though since I don't have a gen real life reference. Any feedback from my attached images would be awesome on that.

I'm also using the stock bezel which I now found out is not high enough, that's maybe why the gasket is visible. Do you know which one would be the correct gasket for a 16200 then so everything looks right?

Thanks and best regards from Germany!

As the ebay shop seems to not exist anymore, where do you guys purchase these cases currently?
