Aftermarket/Rep 16200 Datejust Cases from S.Korea

Hi guys,

I built a 16233 but I feel that this case is not suitable.
I'm still looking for a better one to fit the 2836 movement.
Can you give me some more advice?

Does anyone have the contact number so I can request more information about these cases? I'm wondering if they produce 4/5-digit Day Date case sets as I'm interested in building a 18206 Day Date.

And to answer your question quickly, they do not produce any other than this case right now. He is a very accurate guy want's to get as close to the real deal as possible. This takes enourmous efforts for him to fulfill his entitlements. I do not expect to see DD cases from him in the near or far future.

The cases are either for a 14270 or 162xx as they are for the 313* movement.
But I will check it if a Plexi also works on that case

Yes, this source is still viable.
But as I know that they changed some minor things in the production process there are just a very limited number of cases available right now. They have redrawn the case, using a better, Gen spec tube and crown now, use a better 316 steel and also did a first batch of cases with drilled lug holes. This led to quality issues so that just a few cases passed their quality check.
As of my information cases will be available soon again.

No this will not fit as the stem heights differ too much between a 3135 and 2836 movement.

thanks! I love the patina on it, but don't love the indices. It was listed as silver stick, but it definitely looks gilt/gold in person. Of course the gen part market has gone nuts in the past few months it seems, and with black dials being rare, finding a deal on an actual silver stick black dial might be impossible!

I hate reviving a 4 month old thread, but I would love to build one of these and can't seem to find this case anywhere. Did the guy stop making these? Or am I just not looking in the right spot?
