That's 100% incorrect. A gen watch will always be worth more. Frankens are nice to enjoy, but you'll always lose money the day you decide to pass it on. Even if it's 99% genuine, it's still not considered a gen. I can read off quite a list of Frankens I've built, and lost money on each one.

If you are REALLY worried about the rehaut engravings, avoid Rolex or stick to older six and five digit models.

Umm, I also thought rehaut was separate, 😭. Sure I watched some video about it and it looked like it was removalable. Glad I haven’t asked same question.
On some watches these are separate, ***mod edit: no sales ads outside m2m

....ok I'm lost and trying not to flame..... What exactly are you trying to achieve? Do you not like the current engraving on your rehalt? With a few exceptions like the dssd, The rehalt is machined from the same metal block as the mid case. You have three possible options. One, if you're looking for a no rehault engraving as you would see in an older five-digit then the rehalt can be sanded it down. Two, you don't like the engraving but have a newer model which requires it. This would require you to reach out to one of the limited number of people who could engrave the rehalt somewhat close to genuine's appearance. I honestly don't think you'll improve any high-end replica beyond where currently is. The third option would be if you're not happy with the engravings on your rehault is to buy a couple different makers and see which one you like the best. Although doing some research, you can get a pretty good idea of what to expect from each maker.
***mod edit: not sure about the purpose here, but don't do that
And no offense it’s rehaut not rehalt. loved your rant btw or your ranlt however you prefer
